The Vanishing of Will Byers; Part 2.

"Why wasn't I taken too?" Y/n wondered aloud, opening the door of the shed. She had to get Will back, no matter what.

As if having to go to school in this condition wasn't enough, she also had to tell her friends what she saw.

"Hang on Will, I'm coming."

The sound of the ringing telephone echoed all throughout the Wheeler's kitchen.

As she heard the sound, Nancy let out a moan in disgust as she saw Mike pouring syrup onto his eggs.

"That's disgusting." She said.

"You're disgusting!" Mike retorted, sounding sassy. Mrs. Wheeler rolled her eyes, and went to answer the still-ringing phone.

"Hello?" Mrs. Wheeler asks.

"Hi Karen, it's Joyce."

"Oh, Joyce, hi."

With a devilish smile on his face, Mike grabbed the syrup bottle and tipped it over, splattering the syrup onto Nancy's eggs. This gave Mike the satisfaction of winning over his sister.

"What the hell Mike!" Nancy shrieked.

"Language." Mr. Wheeler said vaguely.

"Are you kidding?"

"Quiet!"

"Was that Will I heard back there?" Joyce asks, sounding slightly concerned.

"Will? No, no, no, that's just Mike." Karen replied.

"Will didn't spend the night?"

"No, he left here a little bit after eight with Y/n. Why? He's not home?" Karen lifts her head in concern, and her brows furrow.

"Um... you know what? I think he just left early for... for school. Thank you so much, bye." Joyce says, sighing.

"Okay, bye." Mrs. Wheeler hangs up the telephone and turns to face Mike.

"You saw Will leave the driveway, right?" She asks, and Mike nods.

"Yeah I saw him leave the driveway. I also saw Y/n on the back of his bike, so she must know where he is." Mike says, starting to walk to the door.

"Ok, then."

The sky was clear, not a cloud in sight, but a sense of guilt came tearing through the three boys. They cycled onto the school grounds, looking everywhere for Y/n and Will.

They all got off of their bikes at the bicycle rack, squinting through the shining sun.

"That's weird, I don't see them." Mike says, curiosity flowing into his mind.

"I'm telling you, his mom's right. Will probably just went to class early with Y/n."

"Oh my gosh, what if they're-"

"They are not making out! I'm positive."

"It's just odd, he didn't even say anything to his mom or Jonathan about getting here early."
