The Vanishing of Will Byers; Part 3

The Weirdo on Maple Street; Part 1

"We're never gonna find him." Dustin said, groaning.

"Yes, we are." Y/n replied, holding the flashlight in front of the group.

"No we're not! If a weird shadow monster took him, who's to say it's not gonna take us as well?!" Lucas complained.

"Me." Y/n stated plainly.

"Yeah right, like you're gonna do anything." Mike said, irritated.

"Mike's right, there's nothing you can do against a shadow monster, if Will couldn't do anything, you most certainly couldn't." Lucas inquired, rolling his eyes.

"Why? Is it because I'm a girl?" Y/n said angrily, looking like she was ready to punch them both in the face.

"Can we go back now?" Dustin asked, sounding slightly scared.

"Sure," Y/n said, "Mike and Lucas can take you back, since their both being idiots and complaining." She inquired, giving Dustin a side glance.

"No way!" Lucas and Mike complained.

"Goodness, just shut up! Don't complain, in fact! Don't talk at all unless it's important."

"And make sure to stay on Channel Six, and don't do anything stupid."

"WILL!!"

"Will!"

"Byers!"

"I've got your X-Men 134!"

"No, he doesn't!"

"Are you serious Y/n! That was probably our only chance of finding him!"

"Bullshit!"

"Nuh-Uh!"

"I said, be quiet!"

"You can't tell us what to d-"

Their mouths snapped shut as Y/n closed her right hand, her nose starting to bleed. The boys started muffling protests, not knowing what had happened. Y/n smirked, not releasing her hold on them.

"Guys, what happened? Why aren't you talking?" She said sarcastically, enjoying the silence that followed her comment.

Y/n waited a few minutes before releasing her hold, and in the time she kept them quiet, they were silent the rest of the trip. The boys were probably contemplating what made them shut their mouths.

"What the hell was that! My mouth just shut!" Lucas complained.

"Which is good on my end." Y/n said.

"Shut up!" Mike yelled.

"No!" Dustin joined in the argument.

"Guys! Shush!" Y/n screamed, making their mouths snap shut again.

A girl in a buzz cut comes out of the bushes. She was wearing a yellow oversized t-shirt, and had a thin figure. The girl looked scared, and she was breathing heavily.

Y/n studied the girl with the buzz cut carefully, looking down her arm and spotting a mark. The mark had a number painted black on her arm:

011

Y/n sat on the very edge of the couch, looking at the girl with the buzz cut intently. Mike had given her his jacket, seeing as she was shivering in the cold.
