my mom and brother Jason were sitting in the front seat smoking when I looked over to see my brother Stevie halfway asleep. We were only moving because my mom said it wasn't safe to be around my dad anymore. She told us we were going to her hometown someplace I'd never heard of before called Hawkins.
my mom started to say something but I couldn't hear her because I was barely awake then I felt my half-brother Rueben shake me. "y/n were here" I looked outside the window to see a welcome sign but instead of it saying welcome to Hawkins it said welcome to hell.
when we got to the house mom told us to stay in the car. when she came back she told us we come inside now. "uncle mark already put y'alls stuff in your rooms so you have to go find them" after about 30 seconds I heard Stevie yell "I found my room" after that I found mine there were two doors in my room the first one was my closet the second one was a bathroom that also connected to Rueben's room so I yelled, "Rueben I found your room" I could hear him walking this way "cool thanks y/n" "you're welcome" after I said that I closed both bathroom doors and finished unpacking my stuff.
