It'd been a few days since the confrontation with Eddie and Dustin in the cafeteria, they hadn't come to speak to you again since.

After school, you were walking to your car that sat in the parking lot, and you were grabbing for your keys that were burrowed in your bunched-up satchel filled with unimportant equipment, that you kept for no explainable reason. You muttered a curse word under your breath as you couldn't find them. Your attention was only focused on finding your keys so you can finally get home and practice on your drum set, if you had time you'd hopefully exercise with your glorious electric guitar.

   "Having trouble?"

A voice from beside you quizzed, causing you to widen your eyes and flinch slightly, you hadn't expected him to be beside you, walking along the pavement and following you to your car. Sighing, you mumbled, "Jesus Christ, don't do that," rolling your eyes at the curly-headed man, you proceeded to search for your keys, only seeing him in your peripheral picture.

Eddie smirked at the sight of your aggravated expression which involved slightly knotted eyebrows and a small frown that you attempted to hide. "Gotcha." You averted your eyes to him immediately, your orbs glared into his. You raised an eyebrow and hummed in question. He placed a palm on his face and ran it down one of his pale cheeks, he chuckled, "Gotcha talking. Didn't mean it in a creepy way like: 'Gotcha, now I'm taking you home and kidnapping you' sorta thing." His hands rose and he moved his fingers like spiders. You let out a breathy laugh as you eventually drew your keys out, dangling them in delight.

"Well, you're a hard person to avoid, Munson," you said neutrally then began to think aloud, "where the fuck did I park-?" You looked side to side, car to car, searching.

The boy shrugged nonchalantly, his Hellfire shirt wrinkling a sliver. He paced to get in front of you, walking backward, and then pointed an index finger at you, tilting his head down slightly and gazing at you through his curled bangs. "Language, young lady," he joked. You rolled your eyes with a smirk and avoided responding. "What? Are you shy? Eddie Munson isn't that much of a frightening freak," he joked again, he put a hand against his chest where his heart is and acted deeply offended, his bottom lip stuck out poutingly.

You finally allowed a laugh to pass your lips, you shook your head at his idiocy.

"Wow, an actual laugh," he held his other hand to his chest and genuinely smiled, creases formed underneath his eyes," I must be a genius to impress the lovely, [Y/N] [L/N]."

"More like an idiot," you mumbled and taunted him as you turned left to find your car, shoving past Eddie. You opened your car door and sat inside the driver's side, the black leather seat comforting your back after sitting in stupid creaky desks all day. You put the key in the ignition and turned it, commencing the car.

Eddie tumbled over his feet after you, his hand helped steady himself on the pavement when he pushed his fingers into the solid ground. He straightened himself from beside you. He placed his hands into his jean pockets, "Hey, hey wait," he begged. His attention waved away from the subject he was about to talk about, he eyed the car that you sat in. This only made him extra attracted to you, a hot woman in a hot car.

You averted your attention to him with an eyebrow raised once more, waiting for him to continue as you slammed your door shut, the noise snapped him back to his previous topic.  You announced, "You're on a one-minute timer, Munson." You uncovered your watch and glanced at it.

His eyes widened as he was put on the spot, and he shot his words out at you as if they were bullets, "Well, Dustin has been trying to get me to convince you to join Hellfire-" you cut him off abruptly.

  "That Dungeon and Dragons club?"

Eddie pointed at you and raised his eyebrows, "Yes."

"Thirty seconds," you announced seemingly uninterested, looking at the tick on your watch as it actively moved, it had just become four-thirty.
