I sat down of the sofa and pulled out my phone and scrolling through Twitter. Calum, Ash, Michael and Luke sauntered in looking fresh.

"Where's the love bug at?" Calum smirked nodding in my direction, before flopping down beside me.

"Away for his date with Joanna" I said not looking up from my phone, keeping my eyes glued to my Twitter feed.

"Want a drink Mia?" Ashton called from fridge.

I locked my phone and slipped it back into my pocket. "Go on then" I said looking up at him smiling.

"So when are you on?" I asked the boys causally.

"In about 5 minutes" Luke answered my question.

Ashton came back with bottles of beer and handed me one before sitting himself down.

"Cheers" I mumbled taking a sip.

"To tonight's performance in Mia's hometown!" Michael cheered.

"On in two minutes fellas!" a deep voice called from the wings of the stage.

"That's my queue to take my place with those screaming teenagers outside then" I said downing the rest of my beer, standing up and stretching.

I noticed Calum's eyes wandering down my body checking out my attire of black skinny jeans, converse, and my grey 5sos band t-shirt.

"I'm going all fangirl tonight fellas!" I said while walking out, grabbing my VIP pass and draping it over my neck.

I mix of groans and chuckles erupted throughout the room as I smirked back at them.

I managed to push my way through into the middle of the large crowd and decided to settle there. I could just about see over the mass of people's heads, I was so happy until I felt someone tap my shoulder. I spun around.

"Well Mia we meet again"

I was greeted with a tall boy atleast 6ft tall with a slim frame, he had wavy, thick, dark blonde hair which flopped into his extremely bright blue piercing eyes. He had a warm friendly smile plastered on his faces an approachable manner which made his eyes crinkle at the corners. I took in his causal yet modish style of slim fit black jeans, black low converse, a white t-shirt and multiple festival bracelets around his wrist.

"Josh?" I choked out.

"Alright Mia?" he grinned.

"I haven't seen you since high school! How are you?" I asked smiling at my old friend.

"I'm good thanks, yourself?" he asked still smiling warmly at me. Then he noticed my VIP pass around my neck.

"YOU HAVE A VIP PASS? YOURE SO LUCKY!" he exclaimed holding the plastic wallet of my pass and gazing at it adoringly.

I chuckled at him, he reminded me of a little happy puppy.

Suddenly the lights came down and the all familiar chord of She Looks So Perfect struck.

The show had been amazing so far, the atmosphere was intense as the band rocked the crowd and they responded by shouting and singing at the top of their lungs. Josh had been lovely throughout the whole concert, pushing drunk teenagers away from me, holding me by the waist so I didn't fall when mosh pits started.

"Hey Mia!" Josh bellowed into my ear as What I Like About You came to an end.
