I slowly get out of bed and see Eddie peacefully sleeping on the hospital bed with no tubes on him anymore, just a shit ton of stitches on his torso. I put my curly hair in a clip and walk over to the bathroom to brush my teeth. (Your wearing this)

You do your makeup which is only mascara and peek through the bathroom door to see if Eddie's awake. You see him rubbing his eyes. You skip over to him. " hi sleepyhead how'd you sleep?" I ask him reaching in my bag. "I slept so good last night"
I smile and grab something from my bag while hiding it behind my back. "Guess what I have" I say eagerly. "Y/n you know I don't like guessing games" he says acting mad. I bring my hands to his reach and it's the promise ring I got him in 7th grade. " oh my god you still have yours?" He says surprisingly. " you don't?" I ask looking down. " well, I had it on when we went to distract the bats and I guess it fell off I'm sorry." He says while rubbing his neck. " I'm not mad! If you dropped it it's okay I know you didn't intend to!" I say comforting him.
Someone barges in the door. " EDDIE!!" Dustin yells. I laugh and see Dustin running to Eddie to hug him. "Be careful! He's still hurt!" I say smiling. "Hey kid, how's the little sheeps?" He asks. All Dustin can do is cry in his arms.
I walk out the room to leave them for some privacy and go to check on my parents. I walk in the door and see the arguing. I sigh and just ignore them walking to my room and grabbing my Walkman and tapes and write a note. 'Eddie woke up so I won't be home for a while. Love y/n to mom' I grab another bag just to fill it with clothes and body wash. I make my way back to the hospital and see the nurse with Eddie.
" hey how is he doing?" I ask the nurse. "Oh hello ms y/l/n I was just checking his blood pressure and his heart he's doing very good! He will be let out very soon!" She says while smiling. " that's wonderful news thank you so much!" I say also grinning cheekily. She grabs her stuff and sets off.
I look at Eddie when she leaves and squeal. " eek!!" All he does is laugh gently. I put my bags down and sit next to him. "God I love you Eddie" I say to him. "I love you too " he says looking up at me. Me and Eddie have been the best best friends ever, but I always felt..he was more than that. I care for him so much, so seeing him almost getting killed made my heart stop and made me fall to my knees. I couldn't live without Eddie. I pat his thigh as I get up and grab his medication from the table. He had to take four pills everyday for his bites.
"Have you hung out with Robin and max?" He asks breaking the silence. " I hung out with robin at the arcade the day before yesterday" I reply. " what did you guys do?" He asks another question "why so many questions? We just went to the arcade " I say while laughing. I turn around facing him and he's already looking at me sitting up.
" alright let's take your medicine yeah?" I say filling up a glass of water. " say ahh" I said while opening my mouth. " ahh?" He says sticking out his tongue. I put the pills in his mouth and guide the water to his lips. He swallows and coughs. " still don't know how to take pills?" I ask jokingly. "Nope " he says while coughing. We talk the rest of the day and before we knew it, it got pitch black . The nurse came back in. " we have great news! Eddie Munson can go home since he stayed for two days after waking up just make sure..." she starts telling me the medication he needs to take and how much he needs to take and all that important shit.
I put them in my bag and see Eddie get up from the bed. "Woah woah" I say grabbing his torso gently. He towered over me he was so tall and I forgot. I look up at him "sit back down" I say demanding. " or what?" He says smirking. "Eddie don't make this hard sit.down." He sits at the edge of the bed and rolls his eyes. I grab his boxers and pants and a random shirt I found. "Okay these will do" I say holding them up to him. " you went in my house stalker?" He asks. " uh yeah Wayne let me in because he loves me" I say winking. " okay let's go " I say as he leans against me and we walk over to the bathroom. "Okay I'm going to try my best to undress you without looking okay?" He starts laughing. " you act like I care if you see me naked y/n" my cheeks turn bright red and I try closing one of my eyes and peeking through the other helping him guide his clothes on. After we were done I take a gasp for air. " okay all done are you ready big guy?" I say looking up at him. "Ready then I'll ever be" I grab both my bags and put both of them on my shoulders while he leans on my shoulder. " thank you so much !" I say waving at the nurse smiling." I walk him over to my car and help him get in the passenger seat. I grab my bags and throw them in the back seat. I turn on the car as I see in the corner of my eye He's falling asleep. I check my watch at read the time. 4:36am. I sigh and start driving to Eddie trailer.
