The days without him.

Days and days past and I found out about max being in a coma like Eddie so I spent some time with her some days. I spent nights in eddies room waiting for him to wake up.

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. The first thing I did was check if he was up. Nope. Of course not I'm so impatient. I walked to the bathroom and put on a zip up with sweatpants on and put me hair up in a clip. I still had stained mascara from a few days ago because I was so tired to fix it. Dustin isn't doing so well either. I always called to check up on him but nobody answered.

I couldn't talk to anyone about Eddie except his uncle and Dustin but Dustin has been MIA but I honestly don't blame him. He's been through so much losing his best friend. I let him be for a few days after it happened. I called my mom twice just to tell her I'm in the hospital with Eddie and max.

So far I spent almost a week with Eddie. After I was done in the restroom I went in my bag and grabbed my diary and sat right next to Eddie. His body covered with tubes, his heart beat on the screen almost had me crying.

I started reading him my diary and all the things I wrote about him and even the funny things just that if he's in there, he has something to think about. I got interrupted by a knock from the door. It was Dustin. "Hey... I didn't know you were here sorry I'll leave.." "no what stay Dustin." I said. I ran to give him a big hug with tears in my eyes. "How is he?" He mumbles."Hes doing good, no signs of heart failure and is still...still asleep" I say forming a fake smile. " it's okay y/n, we can get through this together. He will wake up." We both fell asleep in the couch next to eddies bed.

I woke up to see his uncle standing next to Eddie. I went over to him looking my worst. " hey mr.Munson. I'm so sorry he didn't deserve any of this. He almost killed himself saving this town who hated him so much." I said crying. "I know, I know. I didn't have the strength to come to the hospital. I couldn't see him like this." Wayne said."it hurts I know believe me. But he will awake I promise." I say smiling. " I hope so kid."
