It's been a week now. My back has healed, and I was able to go back to school, I managed to get all my work done before I went to school. Shay brought it over every day

I did it during the day until late at night. Mira went to school a week before I did so she could also catch up with her work. We were kinda shocked when we found out my friends and her friends are dating

We happy for them. The teacher's gave me a hug when they saw me. They heard about the news and most of the school as well. Everyone was so worried about us

July holidays were coming up soon. I was supposed to go to school during then but since I finished my work I got to stay at home. It was now after school, and I was waiting for Mira. The guys left early except Shay

"I'm glad you're back, man," he said

"Nice to be back. Can you do me a favor?" I asked

"Sure."

"Can you take Mira to A.N. tonight?"

"Sure, but why?"

"Mum will be out. And I think it's time."

He smiled and held back his laugh. He knew exactly what I was talking about

"Sure, man. Have fun, " He said

Mira came to the top, and we were ready to leave.

"Check you later, man," he said

"Cool."

Mira and I left and started walking home. 3 quarters of the way, she got tired. It changed? Did the journey home help her. I carried her home on my back. It didn't hurt anymore, and it felt great

We got home, and Mira woke up. I didn't need to cook today, Mum won't be here, and the guys will order pizza so Mira will eat there. Sophia and I can eat whatever is there in the fridge. Mira went upstairs to have a shower and get ready

I went upstairs to my room, throwing my blazer on the bed and loosening my tie, then opened the top button of my shirt

"Diego!" I heard Mira shout from the bathroom

I quickly rushed there and knocked on the door

"Mira?" I called out

"Didi. See, there's something on my bed for you, " she said

I sighed in relief. This child wants to give me a heart attack the way she screamed. I went to her room and saw Sophia sitting on the bed she was dressed so nice



It was a bit too nice, she smiled at me and I gave her a wink. I went to the bed and saw a box there. I opened it and saw it was shoes. I took it out and was shocked. Where did she even get these from.



"Do you like it?"

I looked at the door and saw Mira standing there. She had a white loose T-shirt on and shorts underneath. She just came out of the shower

I went to her and gave her a hug

"Thank you, mimi," I said

"You welcome, a gift for my hero," she said
