Ring Them Up

"Well?" Severus stared at Eleanor while they ate breakfast.

In all honesty she didn't really want to talk about what happened at the party. Not that anything bad happened last night but she was annoyed that Severus was wanting to know every detail.

"Nothing happened." Eleanor shrugged. "It was just a stupid party with his stupid rich friends."

And his stupid wife.

Severus made a face of disbelief but continued eating.

But Eleanor now lost her appetite.

She shouldn't have been upset about what happened at the party. She knew Lucius was married but as soon as Narcissa had ruined their fun it made Eleanor realize how bad she had it for him for her to hate a woman so much.

"Were they weird about you being there?" She heard Severus bring up the Malfoys again and she instantly sighed. "Listen I'm only asking you these questions because I know who these people are and I don't like them. I don't trust them. And you shouldn't either."

"Lucius isn't like that!" She defends

He sneers at her. "Bullshit."

"Bullshit?"

"Yeah bullshit!" Severus raises his voice at her not caring about the students that jumped at his voice echoing the great hall.

"You know what?" Eleanor pushes her seat back, "You're bullshit."

She left in a hurry through the back door leaving Severus to sit alone.

Since it was Christmas Eleanor was out with her best friend Seria to go shopping at Hogsmeade for presents.

Seria had bags in her hands as she was also shopping for her kids.

"Severus has just been on my ass about it that's all." Eleanor ranted.

"Maybe he's jealous?" Seria suggested that to be a reason Severus has been acting weird about Lucius Malfoy. "I mean if this malfoy guy is as hot as you say he is I can see why there would be tension."

Eleanor took it to consideration, "Severus says Lucius is dangerous but I don't see him that way when I'm with him. He's actually extremely charming...."

"And Hot."

"Yes that too." Eleanor nods in agreement.

They enter a clothing shop and Eleanor immediately gets to work by looking for new sweaters for Harry while Seria helps by looking for the correct size.

Both of them disregarding the door chime of someone else walking into the shop.

"These are so expensive." Eleanor mutters about the price of the sweaters. "I was planning on getting him a few but I think Harry will just have to manage with the one."

Seria grimaced knowing that she would have gladly helped out if she had the money.

Eleanor brushed away the apologetic look her friend was giving her. "This will do just fine."

She walked up to the cash register with the one sweater.

"Will this be all?" Asked the worker but before Eleanor could manage a nod a large pile of multicolored sweaters was plopped in front of the cashier.

"What are you-" Eleanor turned around expecting Seria trying to help her but came face to chest with Lucius Malfoy standing politley next to her making her pale cheeks tint rapidly.

"No... No this is too much. You can't.." Eleanor pleads

He hummed.

"Watch me." His blue eyes linger on her face before they went to the worker who was standing there dumbfounded at the amount of clothes stacked in front of him.
