After discussing everything with Severus, Lucius and Narcissa headed back out into their 'sitting room' where Rose and Goldey stood impenitently. "I'm sorry about your wait. To make it up to you and Severus, you two can stay for dinner." Narcissa said.

"Well-"

"We insist. And besides I think Draco and Rose would get along quite nicely." Lucius said.

The adults headed into the living room while the Goldey began to make food for her new family, Severus, and Rose.

Rose held back her eye roll. This 'Draco' already sounded like a prat though she hadn't met him. She was expecting another little rich boy who though he owned the world, just as all the other boys she had met in her own house at Ilvermorny.

A few moments later, a boy with the same platinum hair and grey eyes as Lucius came downstairs and scoffed as soon as he laid eyes on Rose. Draco walked towards Rose and held out his hand, just the same as he had done to Harry in his first year.

"I'm Malfoy, Draco Malfoy." He said.

"Snape, Rose Snape." She said, taking his hand and shaking it. Draco let go before laughing.

"What?" Rose asked.

"I almost thought you were a Weasley." Draco said, looking at her long red hair.

"Weasley? Like the family with ginger hair and hardly little to no money?"

"Yeah, I bet their family sleeps in a one room like that oaf Hagrid." Draco spat.

Rose was curious, about many things. One of them being why he hated the Weasley family so much and the other being who this 'Hagrid' was.

"Excuse me miss," Goldey said, stepping into the room Draco and Rose were in. "But dinner is ready, I've already told my new family."

Rose and Draco headed to the Malfoy's large dining room and took seats next to each other. "You and Draco got along quite nicely I heard." Narcissa said.

"Why yes, Mrs. Malfoy. Although Draco was quite rude when he spoke about a, er-, other Wizarding family and almost mistook me for one of them."  Rose said.

"Which family?" Lucius piped in.

"The Weasley family."

"I'm glad the Weasley's are nothing but muggle loving blood-traitors."

"Oh, I didn't know."

Then Lucius went on a rant about the Weasley's that felt like it had lasted about five hours. Saying things about how Arthur Weasley was nothing but a fool, he didn't deserve his promotion, the Weasley's were nothing but scum, and many more horrible things.

Throughout that whole rant, Draco was smiling and piping in every now and then about how horrible the Weasley's sons were, saying things like "Weaslebee and Weaslette".

After a bit Severus had stood up and declared it was time for him and Rose to head back to Spinner's end and stay there until term started.

That night, as Rose drifted off to sleep she made a promise to herself that she would find out if the Weasley's were really all that bad when she arrived at Hogwarts, and there would be no escaping that promise either.
