"Hurry up, Y/N! We're gonna be late!" Stu continued to lead me through the crowds of people. Some people I passed smelled literally awful. I had to hold my breathe when we ran passed some people. You could look at someone and tell if they used deodorant this morning or not.
I can't believe my first day is going okay-ish already! "I'm trying to catch up!" I hold onto Stu's hand tighter so I wouldn't lose him.

After what seemed forever, we finally made it to room 054. I had to catch my breathe at the door and Stu did as well.
"It's never usually that crowded. But tomorrow, I'll show you a shortcut to here." Stu had his hands on his knees, out of breathe and tired. I was shocked at his kindness.
"Oh thank you! That would mean a lot."
"I understand what it's like to be at a new school without knowing anyone. I got your back, Y/N/N." He playfully nudged me into my arm. He's so friendly with me and we just met! Maybe Mom was right about the move.

We walked into the classroom and were greeted with a smell of cheap but very strong perfume. It was a very strong citrusy and floral-ish smell. It didn't smell TOO bad but it was still bad.
I inhaled a lot of the smell when I walked into the classroom. I started wheezing and coughed a little. Stu thought it was hilarious though. He started giggling.
"It's not - *cough* - that funny." I had to catch my breathe once again. The teacher noticed my cough attack and walked over to me.

"Oh goodness, dear! You've been coughing a lot, are you okay?" The scent was even stronger when she walked up to me. I tried to hold in my cough.
"Um...yeah! I'm okay. I'm okay." The urge to cough had disappeared and I could finally breathe again. "Are you sure? I have cough drops in my desk."
"Yes. It's just...ummm...allergies! Allergies!"
"Oh? It's not springtime but may I ask what you're allergic to?"
"Grass! Grass. I am very allergic to grass. I touch it and I get hives and an itchy throat. It's suuuper bad." I was praying this was convincing enough. I don't even have allergies!

While I was trying to convince my new English teacher that I was allergic to grass, Stu was laughing up a storm.
"Mr. Macher, I don't get what's so funny? You better not be laughing at them. Or you'll have to meet Principal Himbry for the 6th time this month!" Stu immediately stopped laughing and walked to his seat.

I couldn't laugh now but I was definitely going to laugh about Stu getting called out later.

"I don't think I caught your name, dear. I'm Mrs. Smith." She handed out her hand for us to shake hands.
"I'm Y/N L/N. I'm new." I shook her hand and gave her a nice smile.
"Oh! You're the new student! Welcome to Woodsboro High!" She gave me a nice smile back. "You can sit next to Stuart." Stu cringed at Mrs. Smith calling him Stuart. I wanted to laugh really bad.
"Okay, thank you." Once I turned my back to her, I started silently laughing.

"Stuart? Really?" I looked over to him surprised and set my backpack on the floor.
"Oh shut up." He scoffed.

"Looks like we're gonna be desk buddies then." Stu gave me a cocky smile.
"I guess so." I sighed deeply and smiled a little. I was already thinking of Stu as a friend.

"What's your lunch period, Y/N?" Stu whispered and leaned over to me.
"Uhhh...5th. Why?" I look over to him and he was much closer to my face than I thought he was. I backed up a little.
"Sweet, that's Billy and I's lunch period. Come eat with us. We'll give you a tour of the school."
"Oh okay.!" Stu gave me a big smile and I tried to smile back but I was just a little shocked. He was incredibly friendly. I thought he was going to be a little bit of a jerk.

"Meet us at my locker."
"I have no idea where that is!" I whispered back to him.
"Fine, just go to the front of the school then. Where you and Billy walked in this morning."
"Okay!"

5th period rolls around...

"Oh gosh. Where did we have to meet again?" I start to panic and feel overwhelmed as the crowd of smelly teens swallows me.
As I'm trying to push my way through the people I see a flight of stairs. I can just wait there for the crowd to die down!

I had to catch my breathe once again. Getting through that is a literal workout.

I sat on one of the steps, patiently waiting for it to die down. I played with my fingers a little impatiently.

"Y/N?!" A voice yelled. My head immediately struck up after hearing my name being called. I looked around to see if I recognized Billy or Stu. They're both very attractive while everyone else here is kind of like a 4 or 6. I can say I'm any better looking. I'm like a 7.5 at best.

"Y/N! There you are!" Billy and Stu ran up to me and they seemed a bit relieved to see me.
"Oh hey!" I waved at them both and smiled.
"I told you to meet us at the entrance! Billy and I were waiting for you. You were taking too long and we got worried that you got lost!" Stu had a concerned look on his face.

"Oh no. I didn't get lost. The crowd was like suffocating me. I get claustrophobic easily. So I was waiting for it to die down. Sorry I worried you guys." My smile quickly turned into a small frown.
"No it's okay. Don't even worry about it. Let's go eat lunch!" Billy exclaimed. He once again held out his hand for me to hold. I guess it's a nice gesture? But these two are super friendly. It's weird that both of them want me to hold their hands though...
