The hallways were quiet. Japan Hero Central had given the hero team a place to stay whilst they would try and handle the situation in Inkopolis Square. Chaos walked to her room as she read off Hurricane's tablet, analysing the information the Cuttling had managed to get out from Asterope when she'd interviewed them earlier with Blake. Apparently, the duo had simply asked and the Skyling had given them more information than when the officials of Hero Central had interrogated them, which probably said some about Asterope themselves as a person. Going inside her shared room with Hurricane, Chaos closed the door behind her and sat on her temporary bed, looking at the information.
So... Queen Calliope was the type of sea creature to do something to her subjects to have them be loyal to her. And that wasn't even a flawless plan, judging from the fact that Asterope had even blurted out all the information in the first place of their free will. The Skyling palace was well protected, but that didn't matter. Usually, if a place was full of guards and soldiers, then the best way to destroy it would be from the inside. However, the Fixing Chamber, were its effects able to be resisted? Most likely not, judging from the fact that once, a group of adventures had been placed in there and every one of them had been turned to the side of Queen Calliope as Asterope had reported.
Chaos frowned and wrote down some notes under Hurricane's. She only put down dot points, as it was getting late, and she wanted to get a good night's sleep so she and her team could set off to save Inkopolis. If the other team failed. That's right, another team of cephalopods had been spotted on Mount Nantai, escaping two Skylings, one pink, one blue. They were said to be an unregistered hero team, and Hero Central had decided to lay low and sort things out if that team would succeed with minimum effort. Chaos thought that was a load of crap. Hero Central was willing to let a bunch of teens test the waters first, eh? And according to information, some of them would have been fourteen year-olds. Sent against Skylings. Who hadn't been seen in over a century. She was going to deal with that later. Chaos saved her notes and turned off Hurricane's tablet before taking off her boots and going to bed in her hero outfit. A hero always needed to be prepared, after all.

The next morning, Chaos got out of bed before dawn and put her boots back on before she headed to the bathroom, passing a sleeping Hurricane (who was still wearing her glasses). She prepared for the day and went to the map in her room to see if Hero Central had a dining hall. It did indeed, and the hero went to the almost empty room to find Archer, Scout, and Skip already sitting at a table eating a light breakfast. Chaos went to the serving area to get herself some Squid Leg Grapes and some seaweed before going to join her teammates. "Mornin'," Skip yawned as the hero of bravery sat down next to him. She gave the Eeling a wave before taking starting to eat some of the seaweed. It was... crunchy, like Inkopolis seaweed, but flavourless, definitely not like Inkopolis seaweed. No wonder the dining hall was so empty. The food was pretty bad, but Chaos scarfed it down with the grapes as quickly as she could to not torture herself slowly and decided to talk with her friends.
"So, any worries about the recent attack on Inkopolis?" Chaos finally asked."My school shut down according to the news," Skip wolfed down an entire unpeeled Squidfin Lemon before drinking a glass of orange juice. "They're opening when Inkopolis Square gets fixed out of fear.""Oh, all right then," Archer said. "Do they know you're not attending?" Skip gave the Flying Squid a weird look."How am I supposed to know?" the Moray Eel demanded. "I don't have powers to save the day, and my friends are in danger, and I don't have a single idea of whether or not they're okay!" He ate another lemon and stormed off. Oh boy.
