"Lizzy and I both have said something about his horrible fashion sense." I breathed, causing June to chuckle.
"Fuck you both." Luke said, sinking into his seat.
I began driving, forgetting about Luke and Lizzy sitting in the back and placed my hand on June's next to me as we were also talking about what we plan for later. I looked back in the rear-view mirror and saw Luke giving me a look as well as Lizzy. Luke then started whispering something in Lizzy's ear and sporting a wicked smile. I quickly pulled my hand away from Junes' hand, feeling sorrow as I did so, and placed it on the wheel.
I looked over to June, their face wasn't very readable, but I knew that bothered him. I inwardly sighed as we pulled into the parking lot of the school. Luke urged me to park in our normal spot, about the middle of the lot. I did, just to shut him up and cause I knew no one would be around so I could kiss June if they'd let me.
We all got out, June's face still unreadable, and Luke and Lizzy started walking to the school. June and I didn't start walking just yet which got Luke's attention.
"Go ahead, gonna talk the nerves out." I said, my voice was a bit shaky. Luke nodded saying that me and him will be talking later and the two walked into the school. "I'm so sorry."
"I'm not upset. Luke doesn't know about us yet, right?" June asked in a monotone voice.
"No, I was scared of Lizzy. She's one of the most snake-like people here." I said, looking him dead in the eyes. "The students here take being called a snake very seriously."
"Yeah, you told me about that. They act one way to you then when you turn around, strike at something vital." June said. "Then what was it that Luke told her?"
"I'm not sure, I'll find out in third period. I got first and second with my boyfriend and I want a kiss from them." I said, trying to be cute and innocent.
"Later, like when not standing in an almost empty lot." June said, then began to walk the same direction Luke and Lizzy went.
I raced after them, lightly punching them on the arm for blowing me off. They just giggled very cutely and almost feminine. That was a true laugh they just had, which is one of the things I love about them. You can normally tell their feelings by how they act. Normally, not always.
We grabbed out schedules from our home room teachers, me leading June to their home room. We went to our first period class; this was Graphic Design. I suck at art, but June is a prodigy. I'm really only taking the class to be close to them. After this is Japanese. Which is sort of unfair as June is Japanese American and their house is highly Japanese themed. June's mom is Japanese, and his dad is American. His mom was over here on visa when they first met and fought to stay together all the way up until after June was born.
"Hey, class is over." June said, standing up from their desk.
"So, what are you?" I hear someone say behind me. Sounded like someone from the football team.
"Are you talking to me?" June asked coldly.
"Yeah, you're talking to Silas as if he's taking you somewhere. Plus, new people have their own catering service on their first day." I looked behind me and was right. It was Brick Long who was being an ass.
"Ok, and what does any of that have to do with you?" June asked, shifting his weight on one leg and placing his hands on his hips.
"God, they look so hot when going all feminine." I thought.
"You're in a dress, what are you?" Brick asked again, ignoring what June said. June was wearing a short dark blue dress, more as a shirt, with black skinny jeans underneath. The dress-shirt was a long sleeve one, so it helped cover the scars they have on their upper arm.
