"Barb come on we are gonna have so much fun" Carmen yelled enthusiastically like a child wrapping her arms around Barbs shoulders leaping around in happiness until they reached Steve's door.
"Barb chill" Nancy scolded her watching as she trembled nervously. "I'm chill" the red head responded. Carmen gave her a funny look knowing she was extremely anxious. Carmen wanted to help Barb get out her bubble but was second guessing herself. She would rather die than say she was wrong but maybe this was way out of Barbs comfort zone and they should have respected that.
Both sisters gave Barb one last look before the door opened. Steve swing open the door smirking at the girls. "Hello ladies" he smoothly says as he leans on the door one hand on the frame while the other is on his waist. "Welcome home Car" Steve said smiled as the brunette pushed him out the way to get through. She knew her way around the house being there most of the time she didn't need Steve to tell her where anything was and she certainly wasn't gonna stick around for his dumb introduction. .... "Here you go princess" Steve teased giving Carmen her bottle of wine. Carmen despised the taste of beer it was gross and it reeked so whenever they had party's Steve was sure to steal some of his mothers wine for his best friend. Also she had this weird idea that drinking wine made her look like a sexy housewife. "Ohh Chardonnay you know just what I like Stevie who's a good boy" Carmen joked petting his head before grabbing her glass and bottle.
"Yeah yeah Carmen stop it" Steve said pushing her hand away stopping her form messing with his hair. "No but really thank you Steve I needed this" Carmen smiled at him as she laid down on the pool chairs her legs crossed and eyes closed as she held onto her glass with one hand and the other behind her head. "Anytime Car" Steve said giving the girl a warm smile before going to grab his cigarettes.
Tommy and Carol were infront of her making a fool of themselves. Tommy was trying to push Carol into the pool and she screamed bloody murder at the boy causing Carmen to open her eyes and look at them in disgust.
Steve walked back with a beer can and a knife his cigarette balanced perfectly on his ear. He punctured the can with the knife and shotgunned the beer. "Eww" Carmen mumbled scrunching nose knowing he was trying to look cool in-front of Nancy going back to trying to relax Carmen shut her eyes. Barb looked away disapprovingly as Nancy smiled at the boy as he sat in between the two sisters.
"Is that supposed to impress me" Nancy asked still smirking at the boy. "You're not" he asks grabbing his cigarette and placing it between his teeth. "You're a cliche you do realize that" Nancy claimed teasingly looking at the boy.
"You're a cliche what with your.. your grades and your band practice" Steve explained lighting his cigarette in the process. "I'm so not in band" Nancy laughed watching the boy light his cigarette. "Ok party girl why don't you just uh show us how it's done then" Steve challenged inhaling the smoke of the cigarette then passing it to Carmen. He patted the girls arm making her open her eyes to see him handing her the cigarette. She grabbed it quickly placing it between her lips.
