Content warning for underage alcohol usage! I don't condone underage drinking in any way and it is illegal. If you are of age where you are, remember to drink responsibly.

Ever since receiving the portrait, he had it hung on his bedroom wall. A lot of the time, Skeppy would be browsing through his phone, see something that slightly resembles Bad or inside jokes he has with Bad, put his phone down, and stare at the painting. After a while, he'd start giggling like a schoolgirl with a crush. Usually his stomach gets sore from the giggling and his head gets tired from reminiscing, so he'd lay down and rest with a big, stupid grin plastered on his face. Sometimes he'd drift off to sleep with the penguin in arms or catch his breath and go back on his phone.

He probably did this at least fifty times in the span of two days. On the second day, he had less time to stare at it but still somehow managed to stare at it more often. It was the day of Dream's party. There were so many things to look forward to.

One of them was being able to see Bad and thank him, of course. Another would be meeting this penpal of Dream. A third would be the up and coming new year. Well, Skeppy was looking forward to properly spending the night with Bad the most.

He messages Dream, asking for more details about the party. At this time, it's only 12 P.M, with only twelve hours until the new year. Dream explained to Skeppy that the party started at 8 P.M so that people who decided to walk didn't have to walk insanely late in the night and people who wanted to hang out could stay until twelve and decide if they wanted to stay past twelve or not.

A lot of people were invited and more than half are confirmed to be coming. The rest are really wildcards. Bad's main group, some of Skeppy's own group and a bunch of names that Skeppy knew but couldn't pin a face to were said to attend.

There was going to be alcohol.

Dream's parents knew about the party and they weren't going to be there. Dream's parents and siblings would be out for the night staying in New York to watch the countdown in person.

Skeppy had then asked if he and Bad could stay the night. There wasn't an immediate response. The speech bubble disappeared and reappeared a handful of times.

Dream :)

Dream :)
Alright, sure. I'm sure you asking is you saying you guys aren't two aren't planning on sleeping on the living room floor or couch. I'm confident plenty of people are going to blackout and stay the night, but if my party is a venue for your guy's sleepover, then you guys are welcome to sleep in my room. You guys both know where it is, so when you guys are ready, you can hang out there. Just don't mess anything up.

Skeppy is almost shocked at how open to the idea Dream is. There are many instances that Skeppy recalls. He remembers Dream's bed being bigger than Bad's with a bench to the edge of the bed. The other occurrence Skeppy had thought back to was being on Bad's bed - sleeping on it. The two had been squished together, no way to settle without their bodies grazing against each other.

Would they cuddle? They practically were last time. Then again, it wasn't intentional. Most of the eight hours Skeppy spent waiting had been a compilation of him brushing his teeth, nervously eating, pacing, texting Dream, and trying to pretend he wasn't so excited so the time could go by faster. He knew that he should really just text Bad if he was so giddy about seeing him, but he had gotten so addicted to the art of savoring.

A realization had dawned upon Skeppy.

Ever since meeting Bad, he had been clean of the pills. Bad had been his new addiction.

By the time it's 7:30, Dream reports that fifteen people had already arrived and were early. Dream, the man himself wasn't at the house. He would be there again by 8:15, but for now, he was stuck picking up Penpal-George and alcohol from this guy he knew. He had Quackity and Sapnap ushering and entertaining. Bad had informed Dream that he would come at 8:30 so he passed the news over to Skeppy.
