From then on, they were true to each other when they said that their rooftop hangouts would be regular.
For the following weeks, their talks, their time together would be secret. Of course, it'd be cruel for them not to exchange waves and head tilts and the occasional heys when they crossed paths in the hallway.
Since day one - or technically day two, Bad's friends have been suspicious of their relationship. They never talked about each other within conversation, but somehow they would always smile and wave at each other every chance they got.
Bad wasn't brought up as a topic of discussion for the Idots until one particular day when Skeppy decided to wave across the cafeteria to Bad, exchanging the blissful simper.
Harvey darts his eyes back and forth trying to figure out where Skeppy's aim is. Once he sees Bad return the expression with a nod, his lips depart from the straw of his carton chocolate milk in slight confusion.
"You know that Bad kid?"
Skeppy seems snapped out of his gaze. He feels his face heating up. "Ah - yes, why?"
Harvey shrugs. "Just didn't know you two knew each other. He's in my computers class."
A menacing laugh escapes Vurb. "Have you not seen it? The way they blink goo-goo eyes all lovey dovey all the time."
"It's not like that! All we do is wave to each other - like casual friends do. I don't know how you guys are making assumptions so rashly."
"Someone seems a little defensive," Finn picks at a french fry blankly with a fork.
"I'm just saying."
Skeppy hopes none of them see them walking home together.
He hopes no one knows that the real reason Skeppy rarely hangs out with them out of school is because of how many times he's been grounded for sneaking out to be with Bad. And the times he sneaks out to see Bad.
Each day that passes, each day that he spends more time he spends with Bad, the more he craves him. To feel that feeling. That electricity he gets only with Bad.

Around the time when Skeppy gets to his AP Statistics class, he's met with a long line of students leaning against the wall with bored expressions. The students look recognizable and from his class, so he figures it's probably something with the teacher.
Coincidentally, he's behind Blondie. As soon as he settles, Blondie turns to him. He has some height to him but that's not uncommon.
Skeppy easily inherits the boredness of the atmosphere.
"You're that kid always hanging out with Bad, right?" Blondie asks.
Skeppy is slightly taken aback, a shock running through his heart.
"What?"
"Yeah, I've seen you guys walking home together."
Shit.
None of Skeppy's friends had ever seen them, but that doesn't mean Bad's friends were also completely oblivious.
"Yeah.. I guess we have been, but, I mean we live pretty close," Skeppy holds the collar of his jacket to his mouth, lying through his teeth.
Blondie just nods, looks behind him, then back. "I'm Dream by the way."
"Skeppy."
Dream smiles before turning his head and body back towards the doorway.

By the time Skeppy and Bad reach the road intersection, they stand together, side by side, pressing a button patiently waiting to cross. They were a few streets away from Bad's apartment.
