3-sad case of dumb ass

Of course like every other seventeen year old, I go to high school. I have like six friends and the rest of the people at this hell-hole just think I am uptight. The reason they say this is because when I go to parties, I refuse to drink. They all just get drunk! Yeah and when the doctor says you have 13 days to live because alcohol poising... I won't be so "uptight" then...

One of the victums of this stupidity is my boyfriend, Luke. Luke is a sad case of dumbass. He is tall and thin with shaggy blonde hair and brown eyes. He is super cute... but damn, is he dumb. Yet I still love him... I think.

I know what yall are thinking... "You think you're in love?"

I know. I know love is powerful and shit, which is why I am not feeling to good about Luke... Though, to be fair I didn't say in love.

I mean, I love McDonald's fries, but im not "in love" with them.

Well... I might be, but then again... who isn't?

But that's beside the point. Luke and I are almost complete opposites.

He loves to blow off school, smoke, drink, and not shower, while I actually enjoy coming to school, stay focused, and don't mind doing homework.

And yes, I will go to a party now and again, but I'm not gonna smoke or snort anything... or something to have one fun night.

And I hate having to explain this to people because it's annoying. Their response is always something like the following:

"Oh, but you grew up in the hood. You're supposed to like to get high..."

"Oh... but I thought you were black?"

"I thought all black girls love to get turnt."

Yeah it's usually something along the lines of that, but I still don't think this is racist, and  this is why:

Something or someone had to influence people like that to think that. And 74 percent of the time its a black girl or black guy with a bad case of dumbass. For example: my brother's friends. Money and weed is all they need. Get all the bitches. Drink before you think. These are there life goals and morals!

They make it seem like all black people are the same-which we are not.

So, the people creating this influence, the 'others' to think cuz my skin is dark, I like to get high, have baby daddies, and fight all the hoes.
