You were always in between. The outcast and the popular one. There was no one side, you were stuck in the middle.
You weren’t big on huge crowds but got pulled into one big crowd, who called themselves Toman Dragons. They were high schoolers who didn’t necessarily get along with one another but would not hesitate to get their hands dirty for one another.
You were sucked in by a smiling ginger with an Afro kinda like yours on your twist out days.
“ Oh pretty girl! You’re the one who always passes by us on the way to lunch, never speaks, so what’s your name?”, The ginger says in perfect English after seeing that you’re foreign, smiling brightly at her with his pretty eyelashes closed.
You took out your headphones and sighed before answering since you only had the right side working, “ Why would I tell you my name? I don’t know you and my mom says not to give strangers info about you.”
“ That’s why I asked the question, so we’re no longer strangers, didn’t your mom ever tell you that?”, He says with a hint of sarcasm.
You hummed before sticking out your hand, “ Fair point, my name is Y/N, and yours strawberry shortcake?”
The ginger laughed, “ Smiley, I see you have jokes now. See you’re warming up to me quickly.”
You tilted your head, “ Who says I was warming up to you shortcake, joking is something everyone does to either A) get out of a situation fast or B) to brighten the mood. Which one do you think I’m doing?”
Smiley was about to answer before someone shouted his name, which caused you to both look up at the person.
There stood a boy that looked very similar to the one in front of you, only with blue hair compared to the strawberry ginger hair.
Smiley didn’t turn his way when he answered, “ What, angry? I’m having a conversation here.”
Yeah, I see that hi, aren’t you Y/N from English class. You sit in the back and never get picked on, well you did once, but you get it. Do you know my name?”, Angry says with wide blue eyes.
You nodded, “ Souya right?”
“ Yeah, I didn’t think you paid attention. I see you finally met my brother, did he bother you?”, Angry says with an irked expression, which from what you saw was his usual expression.
“ No, but I have to go home now and a group of other boys are staring pretty hard at you two talking to me, so I’m gonna go, it’s nice meeting you, Smiley and see you again, souya.”, You say gathering your stuff and walking off.
And from that day forward, you met each of the boys every day.
You now know Draken, Angry, Smiley, Pah, Peh, Hakkai, Mucho, Sanzu, kakucho, South Terano, Tajiu, Mitsuya, Takemichi, Chifuyu, kazutora, Hanma, Kisaki, Inui, Koko, Shion, and the Haitani brothers.
South and Tajiu were scary to meet, they had this exterior that just says run, you barely talked with them, but they always had their eye on you whenever you were around.
Takemichi and Chifuyu are the only ones you can genuinely hang out with, they were the least scary ones.
Kakucho was funny sometimes but most times he was a robot unless you got him to talk, which you did.
Mucho and Sanzu were the most quiet duo you’ve ever encountered, it was honestly refreshing when you deal with the haitani brothers bickering most of the time with Angry and Smiley.
