"Momma can you please come on? I don't want to miss the beginning of the game." I heard down the hall.

"J Drew I'm coming." I called out as I walked through the hall checking my purse making sure I had everything I needed. "Beauty takes time honey." I said to him when I finally emerged from the hall.

"I know momma, and you look really gorgeous. But we really have got to go." J Drew said holding my keys.

"Alright let's go." I say grabbing my coat and walking out the house. J Drew goes to the car and opens my door. "Thank you baby." I say. He then gets in the back and puts his seatbelt on and we make our way to the stadium.

We're going to this basketball game that he begged me to take him to. He's been wanting to go since he heard about it, and being the momma that I am. I called a few friends and was able to get us some vip tickets to the game so we can sit court side. J has loved basketball since he was 4. He's now 9 and all he does is watch basketball and learns everything about the sport. Tonight we're going to see one of his favorite teams play, The 76ers. I would have told his dad to bring him, but his dad acts like he can't take care of his kids so I'm doing what I have to do to keep my baby happy.

After a while we arrived at the stadium, once we got in and parked. J Drew and I made our way inside. It was easy for us to get in cause if the VIP passes I had for us. We got some popcorn and sodas and then made our way to our seats. I looked over at J and he had the biggest smile on his face, he was so excited to be there which made me happy. My life evolved around my kids, when they were happy I was happy.

As we sat and waited a few celebrities came by to shake J's and I hand. Even a few came by telling me how much they missed my singing and wondering if I would ever start back again. Truthfully I didn't know how to answer it because I just don't have the time. I'm raising an 11 year old and a 9 year old alone, and after my relationship with my baby daddy it just drained me and pulled me from my music. I'm not sure if I'll go back, when I was doing music it pulled me from my kids also. Now that I'm not doing music I'm actually able to enjoy moments like this and focus on my kids.

The buzzer sounded and the teams started to pour in and get ready for the game. A young woman came to the middle of the floor and started to sing the national anthem once the teams gotten settled. Once she finished the players got into place and the game began. One of the players caught my eye instantly.

"J who's that?" I asked still looking at the young man.

"Who Mommy?"

"𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟑" I spoke.

"Mommy that's Allen Iverson."

As the game was going I was in my zone, shooting, guarding, you name it

As the game was going I was in my zone, shooting, guarding, you name it. I worked hard to get on this team and to make this a living. Work hard, play hard was my motto. Between me and the boys we were putting in work to get this win.

We went into a timeout and as I'm jogging to the other end of the court, I saw this woman who caught my eye, She was so gorgeous. I looked at her and her eyes met with mine. She smiled and waved a little, her smile was to die for. Imma make sure when this game is over I'm gonna go talk to her. I smiled back and joined the rest of the team.
