Opening

You and Eddie met through Dustin and Eddie lets you play D&D with them after school. He isn't very open to new members in the group generally, but Dustin put a good word in for you, and since Eddie also thought you were alright, you got to be a part of hellfire club after some time.

You've always thought Eddie was very attractive since you saw him for the first time, but you never really talked a lot, bc you were too shy to start a conversation. 

Friday afternoon after school The Hellfire Club came together and played a game like always. It went well and you really got to show off your dd skills this time. You and Eddie stay a bit after the others have left. 

Eddie: Wow you really did good this time y/n! 

Y/n: Thanks eddie! I tried to focus a bit more today- you said, giving him a slight guilty smile 

E: Focus? You aren't focused generally in the other games?- he said squinting at you, like a teacher if you haven't done your homework 

Y/n: Yes i do! Well- i mean, its a bit hard for me to focus on the game sometimes... 

E: Why? Whats distracting you y/n? 

You pause and cant help but smile a bit even though it would be a bit embarrasing to admit the thruth to his face 

Y/n: Well... it's just uhm... You. 

It quickly slips out of your mouth and you stare down at the table of embarrassment.

E: Me?! - he says sounding surprised.

Y/n: Yeah... i just cant focus when you're this close to me.

E: I'm sorry, y/n if i distract you? Am i being annoying or not good enough at being hellmaster? Please, i want you to feel like you can really immerse into the game you know- he says, sounding a bit worried that he might distract you in the wrong way. 

Y/n: No! Uhm thats- not what i meant. Its just that I can't focus cause... I can't take my eyes off of you... 

You breath out in relief, now you finally said it. 

-Silence- You wait nervously for him to answer. He looks at you and smiles 

E: Oh- I didnt know you thought of me in that way.. Well, princess, i think you are very distracting too actually. Youre almost ruining the game y/n!- He says jokingly while giving you a big smile. You smile back at him and struggle to find words.

E: If it helps, we could hang out sometime? Just to you know, practise on focussing in eachothers company?- He says with a smirk. Your whole body tingles by the thought of Eddie just asking you to hang out. 

Y/n: Yeah- you laugh- i would like that. - You say trying to play it cool.

He smiles and gets up from his chair. His sleeves are rolled up and you can't stop but look at his mesmerizing arms and hands while he packs up the game. He blows his hair away from his face sounding a bit out of breath and looks at you 

E: Well- we should get going. Do you want a ride home? 

Y/n: No no it's alright, my folks arent home so no one is waiting for me. I can just walk, but thanks! - you say smiling at him, but he doesnt seem satisfyed. In reality you'd really like to go with him, but it would just be too intimidating.

E: Sweetheart- he pauses- It's dark and cold outside, and there's at least a couples miles to your house from here. Aren't you gonna get scared sleeping alone tonight? I would- he smirks. 

Y/n: I guess...- you say slowly. 

E: Why don't you come sleep at my place? My uncle works at night so he's not gonna disturb. And you know, your'e closer to someone if you get scared..You watch him come up with all these reasons for why he think you should sleep at his place. Its kinda cute.

Y/n: Yeah alright, i could do that. - you say. You get nervous of the thought of going to his place and scared that yu might do or say something stupid. 

E: Great sweetheart! We can make it real cozy for you:)- he says with a big smile, proud of himself that he convinced you:)You notice he's called you sweetheart a couple times already, and it doesn't seem like he noticed himself, but you just think it's cute, even though it might be a bit too early for two "friends" to call eachother nicknames like that.
