Chapter 1 - Journey to Namek

-Gohans POV-

I was at my house, studying. Ever since my father died, I tried to put up fighting aside, even my mom was proud of me for it. I didn't want to be like my dad, whose only goal was to fight strong opponents. However, my thoughts were interrupted by the phone ringing.

Once I picked up the phone, I heard that Bulma was on the other end

"Hey, Bulma! What's up?" I asked Bulma through the device. What she said in response made me groan "Hey Gohan, Krillin and I have fixed Kami's old ship! Do you want to come with us to Namek so we can revive Goku?" she said.

I sighed in response, I really didn't wanna go, I've already put up fighting. "Sure Bulma, I'll be there soon" and with that, I hung up

I was now at Kame House, waiting for Bulma to start up the ship. I kept trying to reassure Chi-Chi that I will be alright and that I won't get myself hurt. I, Krillin, and Bulma boarded the ship, I waved as we took off into the vacuum of space. Chi-Chi stood there until Master Roshi comforted her "Don't worry Chi-Chi, I'm sure Gohan will be able to handle himself" he said. Chi-Chi looked at Roshi for a moment, then nodded "I hope that he will be, if my baby boy gets hurt I don't know what I'll do" she looked up at the sky

On the trip to Namek, I was talking to Krillin. "So, has Ch-Chi been letting you train at all?" I looked elsewhere and shook my head "No, I put fighting out of the bag, I don't wanna be a fighter like my dad you know?" He nodded as if he understood

It had been a few hours since we departed from Earth, as I looked outside I saw that the skies were green and so was the water. "Guessing we're arriving at Namek" I said to let Bulma and Krillin know.

-Krillins POV-

Once the ship landed, Gohan, Bulma, and I got out of the ship "This is no Earth I'll tell you" Bulma said, I nodded in agreement. Suddenly, I felt one.,.no two huge power levels behind us, I'm sure Gohan did too because we both turned around to look at them. "Who are these runts?" One Saiyan said "I don't know, but they don't look at all strong" Another Saiyan said, and in one swift move, they destroyed the window of our ship.

"No the ship!" Bulma cried out, dropping to her knees. I looked at Gohan

"I know you gave up on fighting, but we need to fight these two. Otherwise we're doomed"
