"Draco. You broke my entire room to get to her. This is getting out of hand." Katie Bell said sternly, setting her hand down on the clipboard.

The blonde sat across from her, slouched and annoyed. He lifted his hand and swished the fire whiskey around in the cup, nodding. "I am aware, and I have already offered to pay for a new and improved one. I do not enjoy destroying things, Bell, you have to realize that." He responded, taking the liquid in one gulp.

Katie sighed and rubbed her chin, watching the man in front of her. "How much have you been sleeping? You look..." she spaced out, her face holding an expression that made her wonder if she should say it. "Awful? Yeah. I haven't slept much. Since I told her, the wolf is dying for an answer. So, I haven't got much sleep at all." Draco answered, his jaw setting as Katie wrote that down. He hated to feel like he was just a useless test session. She said that she cared about him personally, but she didn't offer help or advice. She just criticized him and took note of his answer.

"When's the last time you saw Hermione, Draco?" Katie asked, looking up at him.

Draco hadn't seen much of Hermione since the Cross Keys. Because of all of the injuries that the victims suffered, she was at Grimmauld Place, which was overwhelmed with patients. Since he looked like a dead man walking, he would stay in his room for the most part. Harry or Blaise would come upstairs and update him on Hermione, sometimes they would bring food or water. It was a miserable state that he was in, and his lack of an answer just made it all harder. "Dunno. Probably last week." He shrugged.

"Why?" Katie asked. "Dunno. Maybe she doesn't want to be around me, but thanks for the reminder." He smirked, making Katie grip the side of her clipboard. A knock was heard on the door, and Draco looked up as Harry peaked his head in. "Sorry to interrupt, Katie, but Draco needs to hear this." Harry smiled apologetically, and Draco clapped as he stood. "Fine. But Mr. Malfoy is dying." Katie expressed, calmly gathering her things. Both men were frozen as they watched her, and she looked at both of them. "Oh, now you want my help?" She chuckled.

"Draco has admitted who his mate is to her. Therefore, his wolf is craving an answer. It is getting angrier and more restless as it continues to await an answer. Since this is happening, it is stealing all of Draco's nutrients and well... life. So even though she doesn't have to say yes, she needs to give some sort of an answer so your wolf will relax. Or... you die. Have a good rest of your month Draco, I will see you later." Katie nodded, turning and walking out, giving a 'Mr. Potter' as she departed. "Draco," Harry offered, but the blonde held his hand up. "It's fine. What do I need to see?"

Harry nodded slowly and opened the door further, letting Draco walk out. They walked into their office, and in a chair, sat Edgar Talson. He was a Slytherin, a year younger than Draco. He was slumped over and panting, all traces of his beautiful blonde hair was shaved away. He looked worse than Draco did. "We found him trying to get in. He had a belt of these." Harry sighed, handing Draco a small green oval. "He had a belt of grenades?!" Draco exclaimed, looking at Edgar. "How did you disable them?" Draco asked. He hadn't sensed Hermione arrive.

"Ron knew how. Since Mr. Weasley collects muggle things, he remembered how to do it. I dunno. It was kind of cool, though." Harry chuckled, shrugging. "Impressive." Draco muttered, setting the grenade down. "He won't speak?" Draco asked, getting closer to Edgar. "No, he will. But he said he only wanted you." Harry explained, Draco nodding. Suddenly, the hair on the back of Draco's neck stood, and he growled. "Keep Granger away from here." Draco ordered. Harry looked confused until he heard a door shut, and Hermione's voice call for Draco. "I mean it, Potter. I'll see her later." Draco straightened up, trying to calm the wolf. Raging in anger that she was so close to a threat.

Harry looked at Draco and Edgar and then nodded, leaving as he heard Hermione call for Draco again. Draco waved his hand towards the door, looking back at Edgar when he heard the click of the lock. "So, you have me. Now what?" Draco asked, pulling up a chair in front of Edgar. He also brought out his wand and held it. Draco was incredibly skilled in non-wand magic, but serious spells? He needed his wand. And who knew what Edger had in store for him?
