Seo Ah's POV
Yoongi's gaze was casting a spell on me and I had completely forgotten about the drink that was burning my throat. I tried looking away but his strong gaze was fixed and wasn't ready to give up any time soon. Ji Eun calls out my name and I see everyone staring at me.
"Seo Ah! This is the fifth time I'm calling you!" Ji Eun screams. I take a deep breath and head towards the washroom to avoid all the stares.
While coming back to my table I see Yoongi on the phone. J-Hope quickly snatches his phone and speaks, "Yes we've found the perfect actor for the female role. Her name is Lee Seo Ah. She will talk to you in five minutes. Thank you, bye"
Ji Eun smiles brightly and the four members were looking at me expectantly. Wait a second! I've heard this name a million times. It's my name!!! My stupid brain is so dumb it couldn't decipher anything. I wouldn't be surprised if I actually put my brain on sale and end up paying for it instead. My dear brain, please shut that little voice in your head and cogitate over what they were talking about.
After inquiring and forcing my last two brain cells to listen to them and not think about Yoongi, I learn that his music video-director had called him and compelled to choose the female lead for his upcoming song. This was the song Yoongi was talking about in Jeju. I couldn't refuse this offer and ended up speaking with the director. I will be acting with Yoongi in his new song which is about selfless love and I remember him saying, the couple in his song will be doing romantic stuff.
ROMANTIC STUFF??? What was that supposed to mean? Oh, come on!
I just recovered from Yoongi-ism.
I nod my head to all the instructions without paying attention. A tiny voice in my head says, 'Lee Seo Ah please stop staring at Yoongi, you look like a creep in k-dramas who follows the main lead like literally everywhere and has no motive in life but to kill him'.
I run a hand through my hair and try concentrating on what his manager was saying. "So, you will have to do this..... need to do that" his manager continues without lifting his eyes from the script sheets. No matter how hard I tried I could only hear Yoongi's raspy voice.
"... Seo Ah, you are fine with it right?" the manager asks, I snap back and spontaneously nod. He passes the script sheet to me, requests my sign on it. I was happy because this unmissable opportunity could be my stepping stone but I don't want to hang out with Yoongi anymore. I don't want to develop feelings for someone who doesn't think of me even as a friend. I can't get diverted, this part of my life is very important for my career and love shouldn't be a burden. It's not like he likes me so, I need to stop expecting and learn to suppress my feelings.
I call Ji Eun on my phone. Dong Yeon picks the call and informs me that she's drunk and he needs to go so, I have to pick her up. I carry her and swing her arms around my neck. Cautiously I help her walk to our car and before I could make her sit in the passenger's seat I hear J-Hope and Jimin talking. They were probably waiting for the rest of the members, they were pretty loud so I could hear them talk about Suga.
Me being a nosy ass bitch, slowly walk towards their car. It was dark and they were scrolling through something on their phones. I bend down and lean towards the back of their car with one of my hands holding my pair of wedges and the other was holding Ji Eun's purse.
"Suga hyung won that contest today. He probably did it because of Seo Ah" Jimin says.
"Obviously! You should have seen him in Jeju. Every time I said how the new concept was not conventional nor was it liked by many members, he kept hitting me and said that we need to accept new ideas and changes" J-Hope replies.
"Really? Remember when Yoongi hyung was literally against everything new in our dorm last year? Aish they are so cute together!"
"No Jimin-ah let's not jump into conclusions, what if they are just friends or what if she doesn't see him the way he sees her? I know Yoongi hyung very well and this time he's totally into her. At least that's what I think. I don't want to ask hyung about this, he might feel pressured and dating is the last thing he can do."
I hear sporadic footsteps approaching my direction, I see Ji Eun walking like a zombie, and before she could open her mouth I throw her purse down and run to my car.
Ok, Seo Ah it's your time to practice your amazing acting skills. Ready? Set and begin.
I get out of my car like nothing happened and call Ji Eun's phone. I shout her name while my eyes were fake searching my dear manager who decides to ruin everything. After reaching Jimin's car I bow down and ask them if they had seen Ji Eun. J-Hope lifts a gruesome corpse from the ground and says, "Your manager is so drunk she kept telling she saw a ghost running away with her purse and a pair of heels." I quickly thank them and carry her to my car. I plop her on the seat next to mine with a numb hand. This immature ass sitting next to me was still talking to herself about the mysterious ghost, I smack her head and start the engine.
