(Update: I extended the ending cause I didn't like where it left off)
In the blink of an eye winter was approaching as all creatures were getting ready for the holidays, some already bringing out decorations for whatever holiday they celebrated while others were enjoying the thought of time off of work or being out of school. The first snow hadn't fallen yet, but each night the grass would get frosted as well as car windshields, signaling it was getting close.
As Blueprint pulled his coat on he called to his boyfriend, "I'm going out with Goth again, I'll be home soon!" He waited to hear confirmation from him before smiling and heading out into the cold air outside. Blueprint shivered a bit from the sudden change in temperature but soon adjusted as he walked down the sidewalk.
Blueprint soon arrived at the café he'd been meeting Goth at pretty regularly now, Raven usually coming with Goth as well. It was nice to be hanging out with Goth like this again and get to know Raven as well. As far as Blueprint could tell Raven was pretty nice, he was constantly telling jokes and talking about the manga he was currently reading or the anime he was watching. Above all that he seemed to really care about his family and friends, putting them before anyone else including himself and according to Goth he would dress up and have tea parties with his little sisters whenever they wanted him to because he loved seeing them smile. Blueprint smiled at the thought as he quickly made his way over to their usual table, Goth and Raven were already there once he sat down.
Goth smiled at Blueprint once he sat down "Hey, Print! You just saved me from having to endure Raven's nonstop jokes... again," he giggled as Raven rolled his eyes and pouted.
"For your information my jokes are hilarious and perfect," Raven huffed in a jokingly pouted voice.
Blueprint giggled softly, "His jokes aren't that bad, they're actually pretty funny," he whispered, smiling at the brother's usual antics.
As the time passed by with the three sitting there Blueprint became more and more aware of Raven gazing at him, he had a strange look in his eye but it didn't seem to be in a bad way, quite the opposite actually. The look made Blueprint feel funny, but again it wasn't in a bad way and actually felt kinda nice though he couldn't quite figure out what it was as he'd never felt like this before. The feeling only grew as he sat there, especially when he thought of Raven and how he was looking at him.
After about two hours Goth stretched and yawned quietly, "Well, I'm gonna get going since Palette is waiting for me, I'll see you guys later though, alright?"
Blueprint and Raven smile and nod, "Okay, see you soon, Goth," Blueprint said quietly before Goth got up and walked away, leaving the café.
Once he did, Blueprint turned to see Raven already looking at him, a soft smile across his face which was a pretty drastic difference from his usual playful smirk. Blueprint smiled back shyly, "So, anything you'd like to do now, Printy?" Raven asked before pausing like he'd realized something and continuing, "Ah, is it okay if I call you Printy?"
Blueprint's smile grew a bit as he nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine with it," he said softly, blushing lightly.
Raven chuckled softly before taking a bite of the cookie he had ordered, Blueprint smiled fondly at the memory of Goth teasing Raven about being obsessed with cookies which Blueprint honestly found adorable.
After a while of the two chatting and laughing, Blueprint decided he should head home since he didn't want to keep his boyfriend waiting for him much longer. "It was nice seeing you again, Rae. Talk to you later?" He said in his usual soft voice as Raven nodded.
"Cya, Printy, can't wait to meet up again," Raven smiled, giving Blueprint a friendly wink. Blueprint smiled as he got up after grabbing his things, quietly walking out of the café and down the familiar sidewalk.
Once Blueprint arrived at his house he quickly unlocked the door and pushed it open before stepping inside. The house was empty as far as Blueprint could tell. 'At work again?' He thought to himself as he made his way up the stairs and into his bedroom. Blueprint pulled off his coat and set it on his desk chair as he looked around for a little before grabbing one of his lined journals and his favorite pen. He sat on his bed and started to write;
"I met up with Goth and Raven again today. It was the same as usual except I felt something weird when Raven looked at me, I can't explain it with words it just felt... nice. It honestly feels like.. some sort of crush? But I can't like him, I have a boyfriend already and I love him and I want to stay faithful to him but.. if that's really how I feel then how come I want to be with Raven? I'm not sure what I'm gonna do."
Blueprint looked down at what he had written, sighing sadly. He got up and went over to his desk and opened one of the drawers, putting his journal in the far back of it, 'I just have to hope no one ever finds that journal.' Blueprint thought to himself.
Just then Blueprint could hear the front door open downstairs, his boyfriend calling out 'I'm home!' loudly. Blueprint smiled softly and quickly made his way downstairs to greet him, hugging him gently.
His boyfriend, Cayden, smiled and hugged back, "How are you, Printy?" He asked, kissing Blueprint's cheek.
Blueprint blushed lightly and smiled sweetly, "I'm good! How was work?"
Cayden sighed dramatically, "Boring as ever. Did you do anything fun today?" He asked as he walked into the kitchen to look for something to eat.
Blueprint smiled and followed him, "I went to the cafe with Goth and his brother again," He said happily.
Cayden turned and gave him a weird look, "Goth? Again? You two have been hanging out a lot lately," He mumbled as he opened the fridge.
Blueprint felt a bit bad, "Oh, well.. I've been wanting to spend time with you but you've been really busy with work and it gets kinda boring around the house since I recently haven't had much to work on."
Cayden just hummed as he turned away and closed the fridge once he found something, "If you say so."
Blueprint bit his tongue, had he really been hanging out with Goth that much? He had been meaning to spend time with Cayden but he just hasn't been able to. He soon sighed softly and decided to go upstairs to go to bed, not caring how early it was or that he hadn't had dinner yet.
Blueprint laid on the bed, staring up at the white ceiling blankly, not yet even feeling tired. He didn't know why he left so suddenly, now starting to regret it and hoping Cayden wasn't now mad at him for it. He sighed, knowing he can't go back now, instead now voices that never seemed to stop plagued his mind.
'He's mad at you'
'You never spend any time with him anymore, what kind of a boyfriend are you?'
'You probably don't even care about him'
'He hates you'
'You should be ashamed of yourself'
'You can't do anything right, can you?'
No matter how hard Blueprint tried to get them to stop they never would, he felt his face get hot as tears streaked down his cheeks, he tried wiping them away but more tears fell and took their place. Blueprint whined quietly, just letting the tears fall as he soon fell asleep.
