You walk into science class and sit down. Your teacher is leaning against the white board in the front of the room and he has a depressing look on his face. It's strange because he was always the annoying, sarcastic teacher. You notice that your lab partner isn't here. She didn't talk to you much, but she was actually very pretty, nice, and funny. She hasn't been to school in a couple days either. She wasn't on any social medias either. She was always on, even if she was sick.
When the rest of the class comes in and the bell rings, the teacher stands up strait. He clears his throat and looks up.
"Class...I um...I have an announcement. ______(insert random name) has...has...passed away..."
Silence filled the air. You didn't know what to feel. Even if you only really talked about projects you still felt close, even though you were only lab partners. You look around the room. A couple people have started crying. You saw who you think is her best friend. She isn't crying, but she isn't ok though. Her face is blank and she's staring into space. A few tears streamed down her face. She appeared to be in shock more then anything. Your eyes start to fill with tears as well, but you try to fight them back.
Someone 2 seats down raised her hand "H-How did it happen," he asked his voice shaky. You were pretty sure it was one of ____'s exs.
"Self inflicted...," Your teacher replied. You can't believe someone so kind, and so amazing could ever leave. No matter how tough their life was, You thought that everyone had potential, and the ones in the most pain, had the potential to do literally anything. Your emotions start build up. You run out of the room crying. You find your way to the bathroom. You lock yourself in a stall and cry. What if it was my fault, you ask yourself. After that you were never the same. You stopped talking to people. You ate alone at lunch. You hardly came out of your room. Nothing was ever the same, and the only question had, the only one that stayed consistent in your mind, was "Why?"
