She stepped off the school bus keeping her head down; almost as low as her heart. She walked down the sidewalk feeling like everything was over. "Hey! Hey, Jules! Wait up." He called from behind her. Juliet kept walking starting to speed up her pace. Jake ran up to her grabbing her arm, spinning her around. "What's wrong, Jules?" Jake asked, with worry in his eyes. "Nothing," she said still hanging her head. "Oh, c'mon. You know I don't believe that one bit." He stated lifting her head with his delicate fingers. "You wanna know why I never tell you anything?" She said moving his hand. "Why?" "Do you really wanna know?" "Yes! I really do" he said getting impatient.
Juliet took a deep breath before speaking. "Because I could tell you everything, pouring my heart and soul out to you, telling you everything that I feel, but I know that you couldn't help! I know that you, nor anyone else could actually give advise or help that I'm looking for! I am so broken by this cruel world, that I couldn't be mended."
Jake remained silent. Not because he didn't have anything to say; perhaps because he had too much to say, but was looking for the right words.

...

"I may not understand the complexity of what your feeling, but believe it or not, there are so many people that care for you, and none more then me. I would go to the ends of the universe to save you. I- ...I love-" Jake stated looking deep into her eyes.
