"Ahtena! Get your ass down here we're going to be late for work!" I hear Adrianna yell. "Im coming!" I shout back.

Adrianna has been my best friend since we were 5. Her parents and my parents are good friends, thats why we're super close.

I tighten my pony tail one last time as I walk down the stairs of my apartment building heading to Adrianna's car.

"Took you long enough." Adrianna sarcastically mumbles. "Shut up." I laugh.

We arrive at my family's restaurant and head through the back entrance. Adrianna and I do the usual as we greet the other employees.

"Girls could you take this good over to table 8?" My mom questions. Adrianna and I nod while bringing the trays of food over.

Heading to the table I notice 3 business men.

One is dressed in a blue suite, one in red, the other in a plain tux. They're quite attractive. I feel Adrianna nudging me. I know she thinks the same.

"Thank you for your patience." I say to the gentleman as we place the trays down. "Is there anything else we can get for you?" I question.

The man in the red suit speaks up. "Yes, can we get 3 glasses of whiskey." He demands with a thick Italian accent. "Of course." I smile as he winks. Okay.

Glance up to Adrianna who's in a deep convo with the man in the blue suit. Here she goes.

Honestly I don't mind Adrianna gets on with guys, but at times like work it can get frustrating.

I grab the three glasses walking over to the men. Placing down the trays I nod and smile. "There you go, is that all?" I ask. "For now, thank you eh Athena." He reads my name tag. "Your welcome sir."

"Your eh, friend seems to take interest in Niko." He smirks. I glance at Adrianna and Niko. "I can see that." I say grabbing the tray and walking away.

Finally my shift is over. I finish wiping the bar down as I see Adrianna walking towards me with Niko. I glance up as the man in the red suit is sat at the bar with the man in the blue.

"Athena, Im going home with Niko." I hear her giggling. Oh god. "Just take my car back home, also could you pick me up?" Adrianna hands me her keys.

"Hey, Adrianna can I talk to you for a  second?" I question. "Yea, for sure." She follows me to the back. "Are you sure you want to go with that guy, even without your car?" I ask clearly aggravated. Im not being a nun Im just looking out for her. "Yes it's fine, it's only a hook up." She winks. Oh god. "Fine, text me when you want me to pick you up." I see her eyes widen with excitement. "Aw thank you, thank you Athena your the best." She tightly squeezes me as she hurries back to Niko.

"Let's go." She smiles. I see Niko smirk putting his hand on her lower back as he walks her out of the restaurant.

I see the two men still sat at the bar. "We're closing." I look at them putting the rag away. "Why such attitude doll." The red suit man questions. Doll? No Athena.

I roll my eyes, heading out of the bar ushering them out. "Out, out, out." I hurry them out.

Grabbing the keys off the counter I get out of the restaurant locking the door and turning towards my car.

As I turn I see a red suit inches from my eyes. I flinch back, soon realizing who it is.

"Do you ever go away?" I question. "Why don't you follow your friends lead and come with me." He smirks. "Hard pass." I reject him as I move aside.
