As the sun began to shine over the city of Warfang once more, Spyro found himself waking up to Cynder cuddled up right next to him, remembering how the two dragons had fallen asleep like this the prior night.

"Good morning, Cynder." Spyro said as he poked Cynder's side with his wing, trying to get the love of his life awake.

Cynder groggily woke up, feeling Spyro's purple and orange wing poke her side as she yawned. "Good morning Spyro. How are our eggs doing?" Cynder asked, her vision too blurry at this time of day to clearly see the nest that had her three eggs inside of it.

Spyro glanced over to the nest as Cynder asked this. "No change from yesterday. They aren't ready to hatch yet, but they'll hatch when they're ready." Spyro said, walking out of the larger nest as he did so.

"Well okay then, we might as well get some food for now." Cynder said, stretching her forelegs as she fully woke up as well, feeling her stomach rumble as she hasn't ate at all since last night.

The two dragons walked out of their cave as they walked up to the edge of the mountain they lived on, seeing Warfang in the distance as they did so. Warfang was also known as the Dragon City, and the Moles built it a long, long time ago to honor their friendship with the dragon species. In fact, thousands of dragons live there alongside the moles.

As Spyro and Cynder began to fly through the air, memories of Malefor's vicious attack on Warfang with his army of Grublins and the Golem. It had nearly decimated the entire settlement, but thanks to the Guardians, Spyro and Cynder and the Dragon Knights who are under the direct command of the Guardians working together, they were able to fight their attackers off during the war.

Spyro and Cynder could feel the warm air brush against their faces as they flew into Warfang, seeing that the city was bustling with activity from dragons and moles alike, as it always was.

"So Cynder, what should we get for some food? As we both know, there are a lot of options in Warfang." Spyro asked, speaking more with his stomach than his brain as he did.

"Maybe some prime rib steak? What do you think of that, Spyro?" Cynder smiled as she asked this, brushing her tail up against Spyro's chest as she did; knowing that both of them absolutely loved steak. They preferred to hunt a cow more often than not and get fresh beef, but because they were near Warfang, they knew that they were getting fresh meat that the shopkeepers hunted themselves with whatever they ordered.

"I love that idea! Let's go for it." Spyro said as he felt Cynder's tail brush up against his chest, then twirling around his snout as Cynder leaned in and kissed him, making Spyro blush as the pair of dragons walked through Warfang.

As Spyro and Cynder continued to walk through Warfang, a group of Dragon Knights flew down to them, landing next to the two lovers as they spoke, clearly excited to meet the two saviors of the entire world.

"Spyro, Cynder! It's a pleasure to meet the two of you. I've been looking forward to this day ever since I became a Dragon Knight!" One of the dragons, one with pink scales said as she walked up to the two of them.

"It's nice to meet you too, what's your name?" Spyro asked as Cynder walked into the restaurant, likely already ordering two steaks.

"I'm Ember, I became a Dragon Knight because of the stories I heard about you and Cynder; and how you two saved the world from the Destroyer and Malefor." Ember said as Spyro smiled lightly, he knew that what he did alongside Cynder had traveled across the entire world, not just by word of mouth through dragons and other creatures who were around when it happened, but also through songs that were written about it.

Spyro didn't know why, but hearing that fulfilling his destiny to stop Malefor alongside Cynder had inspired dragons and others across the entire world, it uplifted him even further; despite the fact that he was already having a good day. "It's nice to meet you, Ember. I'll see you and the other Dragon Knights around, okay? Have a good day." Spyro said as he followed Cynder into the restaurant, leaving Ember and the rest of the Dragon Knights who had landed near them to fly off as well.
