The reader has had a crush on Benny for a long time and finally built up the courage to ask him out.

You were standing by your locker with your friend Sarah who was helping you build up the courage to ask your crush Benny Weir out. She didn't really understand why you like him because well, he's a geek and likes all that "weird" stuff.

"He's so cute" you sigh watching him from across the hall talking with Ethan his best friend, "jeez you must really be in love if you think Benny of all people is cute.." Sarah said laughing watching you swoon over him.

Now to be honest you didn't look good but you weren't bad looking either, you could say you were decent looking, but knowing Benny unrealistic type in women you didn't think you had a chance, "what if he doesn't like me back that'd be pretty embarrassing.." starting to doubt yourself Sarah immediately stopped it.

"hey hey we don't talk like that now! Of course he would like you back he'd be crazy not to especially with how he has absolutely no game" she tried to joke and it made you feel a lot better.

Y/n's POV

I was so grateful to have a friend like Sarah she really knew how to make me feel better, "I guess yeah.. but still what if he says no, I don't think I'll be able to live after that because he's actually the only guy I've found interest in at this school.." I confess honestly and I feel Sarah rest her hand on my shoulder "I think you should just go for it girl, if he says no then I'll have a little talk with him" smiling I nodded and took a deep breath.

Gather ming the courage I needed I walked up to Benny and tapped his shoulder "um.. Benny can I ask you something?" he turned around with that cute smile that I loved so much "hey Y/n, what's up!" I could smell the faint scent that he always had, it was a bittersweet scent.

I took a deep breath before saying "Will you go on a date with me, to the movies?" I ask and it took him a long time to answer making me worry and start playing with my fingers.

"Me? really?!" he asked looking around I guess to make sure I was really asking him and I giggled at his confusion "Yes Benny, you I want to go to the movies with you" I said and he started to smile really wide.

"That's very surprising indeed" he said and put his thumb on his chin rubbing it as if he had hair on it, "hmm, YES!" I let out a sigh of relief it felt as if my heart was going to beat out of my chest.

"oh thank god.. I thought you were gonna say no" he was shocked at that. "why would I? to be honest I've had my eye on you for a while too" Benny said crossing his arms with a smug face and I laughed at that and gave him my number saying I'll see him later walking away.

But I could still hear him screaming excitedly to Ethan.

"OH MY GOD DUDE,A GIRL ACTUALLY ASKED ME OUT AND IT WAS MY CRUSH, I JUST HIT THE JACKPOT BABY!!" I smiled to myself and told Sarah everything that happened and she was just as happy as me.

And soon after that a week later me and Benny started dating and all I can say is that he is the best boyfriend I could ever ask for.
