I woke up to the sunlight spilling in through my apartment's windows. 'The perfect day to spend with Hiro.' I thought about my favorite person as I got up and stretched. I brushed my teeth and got dressed, putting on a pair of (Light/Medium/Dark) skinny jeans and a (F/Color or Band) shirt. Then, I threw on my (F/C) (Vans/Converse).

Before I did anything else, I called Hiro to set up a place to meet since we never confirmed one. "Hey," I greeted when he picked up.

"Hey." I could hear his smile through the speaker.

I put him on speaker so I could brush my hair. "Where should we meet?"

"You can come over here firs-" I was cut off by a shriek of pain that escaped my throat. I had woken up with these weird constricting pains everywhere. It didn't bother me much at first, so I had set it aside.

"Hiro? Are you okay?" (Y/N) questioned from the other end, true concern echoed from her voice.

"I think so. I must have slept weird," I said. I really didn't want to cancel on her, we've been planing this for the last week. But the pains insisted on staying, and inevitably decided to get worse.

I went to reply to his statement, but he yelped again. But this time, the phone released from his hands and clanged onto the floor. I panicked. "Hiro? Hiro!"

Silence.

"I'm coming over there." I said aloud, but I hadn't noticed that the line was dead. I snatched my jacket from the coat closet and rushed to Hiro's apartment a little ways down the street.

I took the key from under the mat and unlocked his door, walking in to be welcomed by a... howl? It sounded like it came from Hiro's room in the back of the apartment.

I walked cautiously to his room. When I reached it, I peaked my head inside. Hiro was curled up on the floor, covering his ears with his hands and his eyes were squeezed shut. He bared his teeth as if in pain, which revealed fangs. What the heck?

He must've somehow heard me, for he opened his eyes. But his former brown eyes weren't his; they were now a gold-yellow color, like an ember.

"H-Hiro, a-are you okay?" I asked reluctantly, leaning against the wall next to his door as he got up. He had a stern expression on his face and he walked over to where I was.

When he reached me, he laid his hands on my hips. "I'm completely fine," he claimed, removing his right hand from my hip to stroke my cheek, " Just relax." When this was said, he lifted his right hand to cup my face and he dove into my lips. He was rough and seemed to be protective, not characteristic of Hiro whatsoever.

I pulled away, but only able to go an inch, and excused myself by saying, "I'll be right back, gotta use the bathroom." And I speed-walked down the hallway, shutting and locking the bathroom door when I got inside.

Some minutes later, I was done and walked out. Just as I did, I heard snarls and the ripping of garments. I rushed back to Hiro's bedroom only to find a large black-furred dog with pointed ears-a wolf. A scream escaped my mouth and the wolf turned towards me questioningly. It pinned back its ears and came over to me, giving large puppy-like eyes. It was almost as cute as Hiro-wait.

"Hiro!" I called. He was nowhere-if he was he would have answered-and the only response I received was the wolf nudging at my hand. "Hiro!" I called again, louder, receiving a bark from the wolf this time. I looked down at its built frame and came to reality. The wolf was Hiro.
