Y/n pov

I walked over to the boys dorm the next morning and knocked on the door. Remus opened it and let me in.

"Wow you three look like shit" I said laughing slightly.

"Shut it y/n" i heard sirius say

"Well I'm not wrong. You three annoyed the hell out of lily. She made me deal with you"

"Really?" I heard James mumble into his pillow.

"Yes now get up I want food" I said waiting near the door. Remus walked up to me and the boys slowly walked up as well.

"Come on sirius let's go" I said pulling him down the hallway.

"Why!?"

"What do you mean why. You've been excited about this for weeks!"

"Oh! That's today!?"

"Yes! Now let's go before the carriage leaves"

We sprinted down the hall seeing a group of kids waiting as well. We ran into the group and I ran straight into Remus.

"Shit sorry Remus" I said looking over at him.

"Your fine" he said with a smile. Sirius came over laughing. I punched him in the shoulder.

"Ow" sirius whined quietly.

"Where's James?" I asked looking around.

"Probably trying to talk to lily" Remus said.

"No lily's right here" sirius said pointing at her.

"Weird" I mumbled.

"Mr potter!" We heard McGonagall say anger laced in her voice. The three of us looked at each other.

"What did he do now" I mumbled

"He didn't tell me this one" sirius said responding to Remus's look. We pushed our way to see McGonagall covered in different colors of what looked like paint.

"I swear professor that wasn't ment for y- I I mean I didn't do any thing" James said quickly.

"He's in deep shit now" sirius said. James looked over at us. I shook my head at him.

"Your an idiot" I said to him. McGonagall looked over at me

"Did you three know his plan?" She asked much calmer than when she was talking to James.

"Professor I didn't tell them. They've been excited for this hogsmead trip for weeks. I didn't want to get them in trouble before it" James pleaded.

"All right you three are fine James detention and no hogsmead. Follow me"

The three of us watched as he walked away. A small smile on his lips. We shrugged and walked with the rest of the students to the carriages.

"He's stupid" I said sitting down.

"Oh definitely" Remus and sirius agreed.

We got to hogsmead and since Christmas break is coming up I've been planning on where to buy presents. James invited all of us to his and me and sirius are definitely going. Remus doesn't know yet and Peter said he couldn't.

"I have to buy thing that you two can't see. I'll meet you at the three broomstick?" I said

"Yeah uh well be there in about an hour or two" sirius responsed.

"I'll right see you then"

I went to the quidditch store first. I got James some new quidditch gear that he's been asking for and obviously I am going to get candy from honeydukes. I'm getting him a little extra since he has detention. I got sirius some zonkos products and some more rings. He was obsessing over these certain ones over summer break. I got peter chocolate. I got Remus a set of new books and candy. I decided to get them all sweaters and I'm trying to put each of their initials on the sleeve. I just finished James's and it looked pretty good. I just started on sirius's.

I met up with sirius and Remus and put the bags in my backpack I brought.

"About time. Only took ya an hour" sirius said with an eye roll.

"You actually said to meet here in an hour" I said.

"Well we got bored and sat here an hour ago" he responded. I shook my head and sat down. They already ordered me a butterbeer. I took a sip and we started talking. After a while we decided to head back.

James pov

"No but wouldn't that make it easier. Your complaining that you are failing and then don't study" i heard a familiar female voice say. Then a guy said the password and the portrait opened.

"Yeah but there's no fun In just studying. I like the risk of failing. Well uh until mum finds out. Anyways I like procrastinating. That way I can do more fun things like prank Minnie" I heard sirius say as they walked through the portrait.

"Hi james" y/n said throwing me a bag. "Candy from honeydukes since you couldn't get any"

"Thanks" I said. She sat down in the armchair and me Remus and sirius where on the couch.

"So how was it?" I asked.

"Good. It was very quiet without you and sirius's messing around" Remus said.

"I went shopping" y/n said. "I'll be right back have to put it in my trunk" she rushed upstairs and I gave them confused looks.

"Christmas stuff" sirius said answering my look

"Oh"

We sat in silence until she came back down.

"Why are you three so quiet today" she said. We shrugged and she laughed slightly. We heard someone come down the stairs. It was Peter. She gave him a small wave before grabbing her book from the coffee table. She sat criss-cross on the arm chair and was reading. The rest of us talked until we eventually went to bed.

I just realized I never published this chapter when I finished it a couple days ago. Also I have somewhat busy so I'll try to get chapters out quickly!
