Chapter 40

Y/n pov

I woke up to Remus playing with my hair.

"Break is tomorrow" I heard Sirius say.

"Yeah. You're all coming over right" James asked

"Yeah," Remus said above me.

"Me and y/n are," Sirius said "but y/n was going anyways so"

"I'm going too," Peter said.

"Good. Mums already planning things to do" James said.

"Of course she is. She's amazing like that" Sirius said. Remus laughed under me. I looked up at him and he looked at me.

"Good morning," he said.

"Morning," I said.

"Don't start doing cute stuff yet please" Sirius said "I just woke up. I don't need to throw up"

I rolled my eyes before looking at him and sticking out my tongue.

"Oi shut up," I said. "I've seen you snog way too many girls you can deal with me cuddling my boyfriend" I snapped

"Oh!" James yelled. Sirius grumbled some curses before Flipping me off. I rolled off of Remus and sat next to him. He sat up and wrapped one arm around my waist. He kissed my temple as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Shit, I still haven't packed" I mumbled.

"Why not?" Sirius asked.

"I forgot."

"I'll help you. Come on" Remus said

"No, I'm comfy"

"We leave soon," He said. "I'll carry you if I have to"

"No, you won't"

"Yes I will"

I shook my head at him and he sighed. He got off the bed and walked over to me. He grabbed my waist and picked me up putting me over his shoulder I yelped as he did so and grabbed the back of his sweater.

"Remus!" I shrieked while laughing

"Let's go pack," he said

"Sirius. Help!"

"No, you got it"

"James"

"Nah mate"

I groaned before Remus walked out the door. We made it to my dorm and he placed me on my bed.

"What do you need to be packed because it doesn't look like you really unpacked? He said. I looked at my trunk and saw it all packed up.

"Did I really forget to unpack?" I asked.

"Possibly." He said. I laughed a little

"Maybe I am packed."

He shook his head before sitting down in front of him. He cupped my cheeks lightly and pulled me into a kiss. I smiled into it before pulling him closer to me. He grabbed my waist and pulled me onto his lap. My fingers tangled into his hair while his hands were under my well his shirt and his fingers traced lines on my waist and back. I pulled away to breathe for a moment before he pulled me back in. I pushed him back making him lie down on the bed. My hands landed next to his head I felt him smile on my lips. He flipped us so he was on top of me. He looked down at me with a smile as his hair fell into his eyes. I smiled at him before I pulled him back. My hands rested on the back of his neck. He pulled away before leaving kisses on my jaw and neck.

"Remus" I breathed out

"Hm?" He hummed against my neck.

"Sirius will kill you if he sees a mark," I said.

"Just hide it then," he said. I Shook my head before he kissed my lips again. He pulled away again "Or don't," he said. "Then the guys who keep staring at you will know you're taken"

"Is that jealousy I hear" I joked.

"Yes yes it is"

I smiled at him before hearing a knock on the door.

"You guys done packing. The train is leaving soon!" James yelled.

"Yeah," Remus said. He presses another kiss to my lips before getting off of me. I sat up and tried to fix my hair.

"I need to change," I said.

"I'll meet you in the commons"

"Ok"

Remus pov

I fixed my hair before walking downstairs. James was sitting on the couch. He looked at me and laughed a little.

"Sirius might kill you," he said. I rolled my eyes. "Your lips are swollen mate. I don't know what you thought would happen."

"It's fine," I said.

"Sure mate"

I went up to the dorm and went to change and grab my trunk. Sirius looked over at me. He took a small double take.

"You were snogging my sister!" He said

"Maybe," I said

"You break her heart I break your neck"

"Wow ok," I said taking a breath. Sirius laughed at me. "Nah you're good mate. I was pissed a first but she needs someone like you so thanks." I nodded.

We got on the train and y/n sat next to me and laid on my chest.

"Hi love," I said

"Hi," she said. She grabbed her book and started reading. I smiled down at her while rubbing her arm.

"Oh, Remus you have to see her room," James said laughing a little

"James" I heard y/n warn.

"What he's gonna see it anyway"

"Shhh," she said. He laughed before she threw something at him.

"Ah!" He yelped. She laughed before he threw it back and before I could stop it they kept throwing shit at each other. I swear they act like siblings. Sirius soon joined in making me move away from the chaos. Eventually, they stopped and Y/n had a big smile on her face. I smiled over at her and she smiled back. Then we heard the trolly coming down the train.

"Finally," Sirius said. "I wanted to spend money"

I got up and so did y/n

"What do you want love," I asked softly.

"Hm?" She hummed.

"From the trolley"

"No Remus if you think you're paying for me-"

"I am"

"No"

"Yes. What do you want? I'm not moving until you answer me"

"Fine chocolate frog please"

"Ok," I kissed her forehead.

"You paying for me to Remus?" James asked.

"Nah just her"

"Oh you git"

I rolled my eyes as he shoved me a little. The trolly came over and I got me and y/ns and sat down. I handed her hers and she kissed my cheek before opening it. I pulled her closer so I could wrap my arm around her stomach. I kissed the top of her head as she laid back on me.

"Thank you," she said.

"Of course love," I said before kissing her forehead.

We spent the rest of the ride in a nice silence. She had fallen asleep on my lap while James and Sirius were playing exploding snaps and Peter was watching. I ran my hand through her h/c hair with a smile.
