Shu-ji

After two years of training, I debuted as a k-pop idol with the group named Twilight. My position is main vocal and the face of the group.

We are currently preparing for a music show in the dressing room. Everyone is so busy for the wardrobes, make-ups and stuff. I heard the head of our make-up team, instructing someone on what to do. I looked at them and I saw the woman I've seen in the convenience store, maybe a year and half ago.

She still looked like a newbie, a lost child. I laughed at that thought. She listened very carefully and did the task given to her.

I silently watched her through the mirror, unfortunately, she was assigned to my co-member. I heard my co-member praise her because she's a good make-up artist. That's when I heard that she's just a part-timer.

I want her to look at my side and maybe, recognize me, but she's too focus on what she's doing. I even purposely walked back and fort to their side, thinking she'll took a glance at me, but she didn't.

The music show started and ended. The whole time we were in the dressing room, she did not look at me, even for a second. I don't even know why I expected her to recognize me. I just had a feeling that she'll know me.

I was on my way to the parking lot with my members, when I heard someone calling my name. I looked back, and so the woman running. She's holding my tumbler.

"You forgot this Mister" she said, breathing heavily because of running

I accepted the tumbler and frowned, how does she know that I understand English?

"Don't look at me like that Mister, I know you understand English because I know your profile. You forgot that your personal profile is broadcast?" she said, laughing a bit.

Oh yeah, so dumb of me to not think about that.

"I believed that you don't know English back then in the convenience store, but I guess, naintindihan mo lahat ng sinabi ko kaya ka tumawa. Naniwala  ako doon ah!"

I can't open my mouth to talk back. She remembered me!

"Nice meeting you 1/4 na kalahi. I hope we can be friends kahit medyo di ka na ma-reach dahil artista ka" she smiled and bowed before turning her back to me.

I panicked, why does my mind can't  think of words to say!

"Wait!" I shouted in panic

She looked back at me

"What's your name?" I managed to ask.

"Akijja, but you can call me Ijja"

"I guess it's time for you to tell her who you really are anak" Tita Akira said

Ijja is now at her house. Last time she said she remembered something about Twilight, it is about the door and there's a written text 'Twilight'. Maybe she remembered about the dressing room she used to work back then. It's just a glimpse of her memory but the doctor said that it is a good progress. We just have to let her gain her memories without forcing her.

"I'm afraid to shock her Tita"

We are currently at the kitchen because Ijja just finished the snack I gave her. She's in her room, watching movie.

"I asked her doctor about it, he said that it's fine. Just don't push her too much"

I sighed, when Ijja was discharged from the hospital, she became more distant. Always asking me why I am visiting her at night. Maybe she's confused because I am her only 'friend' who visits her.

"I'll think about it Tita"

She patted my shoulder

"I know miss na miss mo na ang anak ko. Nasa malapit nga lang siya, pero parang ang layo pa rin. Salamat sa pag-intindi sa kaniya Shu-ji. Thank you for loving my daughter so much"

"Who wouldn't love Akijja, Tita? She's the only one I see my future with"

"What?"

I immediately turned my head to the entrance of the kitchen. There, I saw Ijja looking shocked with a furrowed brows.

"Shu-ji... Are you my boyfriend?"
