Yin-Yang and the Search for Tissues (An Inanimate Insanity Fanfiction)

Chapter 11 Reunited

Yin-Yang continued to walk up and down, looking everywhere for their lost friend. They used a lot of their supplies for the journey and they were slowly running out.

Yin-Yang was starting to get desperate.

"I hope we find Tissues. Poor thing. I hope he is OK. He is nowhere to be found and we are getting tired.", said Yin.

Yang agreed. "We need to find a place for shelter, soon, hopefully, Tissues found himself a shelter. Where ever he is.", said Yang, in a surprisingly soft voice.

Yin was surprised at Yang's gentleness, but nonetheless continued to walk.

Yin-Yang made his way through the open paths. They walked aimlessly as they searched for any sign of Tissues.

That's when they hit a breakthrough.

"Yang, look.", Yin said. "What is it?!", asked Yang.

Yin pointed out a snot splotch in the forest where Tissues was found by Test Tube.

"It is Tissues's snot, he has been here!", Yin exclaimed. Yang was surprised. "He must be near, but where?!", asked Yang in a gruff voice.

Meanwhile, Tissues walked back to the hotel with his friends in tow.

His eyes were red and swollen from crying. He felt tired but at the same time, he felt cared for and loved by his friends.

His whole life he was treated horribly and like an outcast just for a sickness he could not help and that he hated.

Just the fact that he was being accepted and finally found true friends...,

... that was an amazing miracle that warmed his heart.

Fan looked at Tissues and made sure he was doing OK. He approached him.

"Are you better now, Tissues?", he asked in concern.

Tissues blew his nose and hugged his dragon toy. "Yes, thank you.", he replied.

Paper walked over to Tissues and stretched out a hand. Tissues took it.

"Don't ever think you are a burden and that you are a drag. We love you, Tissues, and we care about you.", he said.

Everyone turned around and nodded. Dr. Fizz just simply nodded silently before turning back around.

Tissues smiled another rare, genuine smile.

"Thank you. I am happy I have friends like all of you. If only Yin-Yang were here.", said Tissues, sadly.

Tissues felt sorry and terrible that Yin-Yang was not there with the group. But, what he heard next, only surprised him.

"Tissues, Yin-Yang left to go out and find you. They were so worried and wanted to bring you back to the hotel.", Test Tube explained.

Tissues was surprised.

"Wait, what?! Yin-Yang went to go find me?!", Tissues asked in a loud voice.

"Yes, they did.", Paintbrush added as they petted Baxter.

Tissues was slack-jawed. "But, where are they, now?", he asked in concern. "They could be anywhere and probably in trouble!", he said, in a worried tone.

"Um, Tissues? I don't believe you have to worry about Yin-Yang.", said Dr. Fizz in a monotone, yet, reassuring voice.

Tissues looked up. Just before he could ask what Dr. Fizz meant, he saw a familiar black and white figure in the distance.

It could only be one person... or two people.

"YIN-YANG!!!!!!", Tissues shouted before running up to the figure in the distance.

Meanwhile, Yin-Yang was in tatters and was horrendously frazzled.

"Oh, Tissues..., where are you?", asked Yin as he held back some more tears. Yang spoke up. "Hey, genius, look up, I see something.", said Yang.

Yin looked up and saw...

"TISSUES!!!!!!!", Yin screamed at the top of his lungs.

Yin-Yang bolted and made his way to Tissues, who was also running like a maniac.

That's when they crashed into each other.

They were finally together. At long last.

"Oh, Tissues, we were so worried. Don't ever ran away, again! Oh, but, I am so glad you are safe!", said Yin. "Never, ever be an idiot, again, you imbecile!", scolded Yang.

Tissues laughed as happy tears fell from his eyes.

"Oh, Yin-Yang, I am sorry for everything. I am sorry. I'm sorry... I just want to go back home and be with you and the others. I am happy to be with you. I missed you!", Tissues said as he ranted on and on.

"Shut up!", shouted Yang. "Hey, be nice, Yang!", scolded Yin. "No, I deserve it.", said Tissues. Yang shook his head. "No, you stupid tissue box, NEVER run away, again. No more! You are my friend, so don't do stupid things! I was worried!", shouted Yang, angrily.

But, Yang's anger subsided as he hugged Tissues, slowly. "Don't be an idiot, next time, OK?", Yang asked. Tissues nodded.

"I won't.", Tissues promised.

Everyone watched the heartwarming scene unfold as Tissues and Yin-Yang were together at long last.

It was a beautiful sight and wonderful moment.
