"The plane is dipping down. We gotta jump!" Jamie called.
The pilots had come to where they were. Jamie crawled to where the parachutes were
and passed them around
"We're one short," Jamie said.
Jonah took a breath. He went over and grabbed a harness looking thing.
"Skydiving. They normally have a guide on someone's back," Jonah remarked.
"I'm the shortest, barley, I will be strapped to someone," Jamie mumbled.
Jonah grabbed a second item and threw it at Jamie. Jamie was unsure of how to put it
on. He saw Jonah put the harness on and tried to do the same with what he had.
"Jamie. You've been rock climbing before, haven't you?" Jonah asked.
The plane jerked as Jamie nodded.
"It's like that,"
Jamie put the thing on and Jonah clipped them together.
They had the pilots jump first. Yuki went next.
"Are you ready?" Jonah asked.
"Yep, definitely," Jamie replied, laughing nervously.
Jonah jumped. Jamie had his eyes closed. He felt the wind on his face. He was terrified.
"Open your eyes!" Jonah yelled.
It was hard to hear with the wind. Jamie slowly opened his eyes. They had to have been
at least over 400 feet in the air. Jamie couldn't take his eyes off the ground. He could see Yuki and the pilots.
When they were closer Jonah pulled the parachute. They glided into the trees. Jamie was trying to stay calm. When they landed, Jamie let out a sigh.
"I never want to do that again," he said.
Jonah unhooked Jamie from him and started taking the harness off. Jamie did the same.
Once his harness was off, Jamie fell to the ground. He felt nauseous.
"Jame?" Yuki asked, putting a hand on Jamie's shoulder.
Jamie jumped back, "I'm fine just... just dizzy,"
Yuki had a concerned look on his face, but let it go.
Jamie stood up, "Which way was the plane headed?"
"That way," The pilot said, pointing.
Jamie started walking; he assumed they were going west. Everyone followed without a
word. They walked for a while. They finally made it to a road.
"Don't you guys have phones?" the pilot asked.
"In my suitcase, yeah," Jamie replied.
"Yup," Yuki and Jonah said in unison.
They continued walking.
