Bennet's POV

My body layed on my king size bed motionless. I was completely emotionally, physically and mentally drained from all the chaos of the day.

My eyes slowly became heavy and exhaustion seized my whole body. Even though I was forcefully going to get engaged to Hana in three days, sleep was the only thing on my mind.

I could hear the footsteps of someone walking towards my bedroom and turning the knob of the door but I couldn't care less. I had no energy to entertain them and my social battery was dying as each second went by.

"Hey Ben, do you have a minute."

I heard a hush voice speaking.

"Yeah, come in."

I sat up and saw Hana standing by the door with her long arms wrapped around her petite body.

"What are you doing?"

She asked.

"Well I was trying to get some rest until a intruder came in.

I joked, rubbing my eyes to clear my vision.

"I'm so sorry."

She apologized.

"No biggie, I wasn't asleep anyway."

I replied half asleep.

"Is there anything I can help you with." I asked pushing the blankets away. " I can tell there's something roaming in that little head of yours."

"Is it that obvious?"

She chuckled.

"I mean you left your comfortable bed at 2am just to tell me something, so I guess it is obvious."

"Do you mind if I come in?"

She asked leaning against the doorway.

"No problem."

I moved aside to create space for her to sit.

"I'm so anxious."

She giggled nervously, rubbing her legs with her hands.

"You know you can tell me anything right."

"Its just that I don't know how you'll take it?"

"I guarantee you I won't be offended."

"I don't know how to say this so I'll just fire away." She took a deep breath before dropping a bomb. " I love you and I want to make this engagement work. "

She said all at once.

"You like. me?"

I asked puzzled.

"I know I've only known you for a short period of time but I've never been so sure."

She tugged a piece of hair behind her ear and continued.

"I didn't mean for it to happen but it just did. The way you spoke about love and it being the most important thing to you touched my heart. The way you treated my cut when we had dinner earlier showed me how great of a husband and father you will be."

Her eyes glistened as she confessed her feelings.

"I think you are the one. I think you are my forever. And yes it might sound crazy but I think we can make this engagement work."

I froze and looked down at the carpet. "I don't know what to say." Is all I managed to say.

"You don't have to say anything. I just wanted to get it off my chest."
