Head canons about surfing!
Warnings: none
-California, Florida (sometimes), and Hawaii are the real surfers of the group
-California, despite his less than imposing stature, is actually really good at surfing
-It's how he relaxes after a stressful table meeting
-Florida just gives off surfer vibes
-He's a very ocean-based state, especially with places like Cocoa Beach
-So it's only natural that he'd have a talent for it
-Doesn't do it as much as Hawaii, though, as he'd rather be causing trouble
-Speaking of which, Hawaii is literally the definition of a surfer girl
-If she has to visit the statehouse for a longer period of time, she will go to the beach and surf in an attempt to escape the others
-She's fine with the other surfers coming with her
-She has dragged Alaska with her, despite his low heat tolerance (I ship Hawaii and Alaska so much)
-He was surprisingly not bad at it (maybe from dogsledding?)
-Likewise, Florida is giving Louisiana lessons for the hell of it
-Cali just likes to surf because he can be alone
-He did, however, make Gov come with him once
-Gov will never make a bet with California again after that humiliation
