Thanks to @blakesartpools for the idea and characters! This may be a little short, and I am terrible at writing fights, so...

Warnings: Physical Violence

Michigan usually considered himself pretty patient, for a Midwestern state. But there were two things that could always, without fail, get him to snap: Ohio and Sports.

So when both got combined? A recipe for disaster.

It was an uneventful Saturday in the Statehouse- uneventful for most, at least. But for Michigan and Ohio, it was one of the most important of the year- the big game between the Wolverines and the Buckeyes. More often than not, it devolved into heated arguments while the other states supervised to make sure nobody got killed.

"The Buckeyes are better- we've beat you two years running!" Ohio shouted, shoving Michigan onto the couch. It had only been twenty minutes since the start of the game, and already they had started yelling. Even better, there were no other states in the room, so if it came to blows, there would be no one to stop them. Perfect.

"And who had a win streak of three before that?" Michigan stood up, pushing Ohio onto the floor. Instead of standing back up, Ohio launched into his legs, knocking him down. Michigan fell on top of him, knocking their heads together.

"You are a (speaks Ohio) idiot!" Ohio threw him off and into the couch, then turned and grabbed him by the collar.

"Get- off!" Michigan kicked him in the stomach. Ohio fell back with a cough. Michigan grabbed him and put him in a headlock.

"Michigan, what the (speaks Indiana) are you doing? Let him go!" Michigan looked up to see Indiana standing in the doorway.

While Michigan was distracted, Ohio took the opportunity to slip out of his hold. Just as he looked around, trying to see where Ohio had gone, a blow landed on his shoulder, causing him to reel back.

In a flash, Indiana had jumped over the couch and, in one motion, knocked into Ohio, pinning him to the floor. "Honestly, you two, is it worth this over a (speaks Indiana) game?"

"I would fight him anyways, you think I need a reason?" Ohio said, pushing Indiana off. Indiana grabbed his wrist, and, with surprising strength, pulled him away from Michigan.

Michigan made an attempt towards Ohio, but Indiana pushed him back.

"For the love of god, it's just a game. California!" Indiana shouted the last word, causing both Ohio and Michigan to jump. They could hear quick footsteps in the hall, and then Cali's voice filled the room.

"What's up, In- oh no, not another sports game."

"Sorry to involve you, Cal. But these two started honest-to-god brawling in the middle of the game- don't you dare!" The last bit was directed at Ohio, who had suddenly flipped towards Michigan and tried to hit him. Michigan retaliated with a kick to the arm, causing Ohio to try and slip from Indiana's grasp.

California grabbed Michigan by the back of the shirt. "We need to keep these two apart."

"I'm going to go lock this one," Indiana stood up, dragging Ohio with him, "In his room."

"Good idea." California prodded Michigan towards his room.

"But how am I supposed to watch the game?"

"Should've thought about that before you decided to fight Ohio," Cal said, dragging him towards his room.
