Chapter 8 Prom

I went to prom but the first thing was first i had to get a dress. I looked in my closet and their was the one the dress with my high heels. The color of the dress was white and black strapless. The shoes were white. The dress had flowers like growing on the bottom. I went to get my hair and make up done. I had my hair done curly to make it pretty and my make up was awesome. I just had to keep it like that for the rest of the night. Lila said she was picking me up with Andy. I thought Lila and Andy made such a cute couple together. Lila and Andy were like a couple that would never break up. I brushed my teeth to make them the whitest white. The hair salon girl said to put a little bit of hair spray so it can stay curly I put a dab of hair spray. I looked in the mirror to see how I look like. I looked like the best girl I've ever saw. I thought something was missing. I knew what was missing. My glasses. I wasn't going to prom being blind. I figured why do I even bother going to prom if no one is going to dance with me? I already payed for everything so might as well go. Lila texted me that she will pick me up at seven o'clock. Although I live two blocks away. I could go walking if I didn't have a dress on. What if people thought I would look different, this was the only day I was going to dress like that. I wouldn't even dress for graduation which was next week. Lila texted me that she was outside with Andy. I walked out there. I said this is it. I am going to prom. Lila said "Page, you look so pretty! You finally had a girly girl inside. I am so proud for you!" I smiled. Andy said "Were here!" we were walking out.
