~GALAXY P.O.V

The music stopped before the lights came on. I looked at Sunset in shock but also relief, for stopping Rainbow before she could show her magic. Fluttershy squealed before she ran off stage.

Rainbow rubbed her head as her pony ears disappeared. She opened her eyes to glare at Sunset. Sunset sat up slowly as Applejack, Rarity, Twilight, and Rainbow stood up.

Sunset stood up before she looked toward the audience. Celestia narrowed her eyes with a frown before she wrote something down on a piece of paper. Suddenly, I saw Flash stand up from his seat.

"Now that's the bad girl we love to hate!" Flash pointed out before he smugly smile as the crowd either cheered or glared at her. "I knew she was still trouble!" Octavia yelled at her.

"The real Sunset Shimmer is back!" someone yelled from the crowd. "No. It isn't like that," Sunset muttered as the Rainbooms walked past her with a glare.

I walked over to her and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. She smiled sadly at me as I lead her off stage. The group, except Twilight and Spike, glared at her, waiting for answers. "What was that?!" Rainbow questioned.

"You were showing them your magic. I-I didn't know what else to do," Sunset defended herself. "Ugh. Close the curtains? Unplug her amp? Give us a chance to deal with the situation?" Rarity questioned with a glare.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to help," Sunset said as she looked down. "Yeah, well, you didn't," Rainbow told her. Applejack walked up to her. "None of this would've happened if you weren't tryin' to show off, as usual," Applejack told her as the two glared at each other.

"Excuse me?!" Rainbow shouted. My arm fell to the side as I walked over to her. "Applejack's right. We're both the lead singers, and you cut me off!" I shouted at her, causing Rainbow to roll her eyes as she stepped closer to me.

"Oh, please. You didn't even know the song and your singing is awful. You didn't even need to be in the song or the band!" Rainbow shouted at me, causing my eyes to widen.

Everyone stared at Rainbow in shock. Rainbow realized what she did as I turned away from her. "Galaxy..." she muttered as she reached out to me. "It's fine. I know where my place lies. No matter what counterpart it is, pony or human, I can never please," I muttered as I hugged myself, but I knew everyone heard me.

"Good show, 'Rain-brooms,'" 

We looked over to see Trixie walking over to Sunset. "I especially liked the part where Sunset Shimmer, in a fit of jealous rage, knocked out Rainbow Dash mid-guitar solo!" Trixie egged Sunset on.

Sunset glared at her as her face went red. "It wasn't a fit of jealous rage!" Sunset yelled at her. Her eyes widened as she looked over at us, to see everyone except Spike and I, look away from her.

Sunset rubbed her arm as Trixie smirked at her, noticing Celestia and Luna on the other side of the stage in front of the door. "If you say so. Ooh! Looks like they've already decided who'll be moving on to the finals! I'm guessing it wasn't too difficult a decision," Trixie commented as she looked in a mirror.

I walked over to Sunset as the door opened. We looked over and saw the Dazzlings singing a song around Celestia and Luna. "Huh?" Sunset muttered confused as the two of us shared a look.

"What can we do? There isn't gonna be another opportunity for us to play. And I had the most gorgeous outfit for the finals!" Rarity complained. Applejack rolled her eyes. "Yup, 'cause that's the real tragedy here, Rarity! That you won't get to play dress-up!" Applejack yelled at her.

"You know perfectly well that is not what I meant!" Rarity argued back as the two glared at each other. Rainbow pushed them apart. "You guys wanna keep it down? They're about to announce who's moving on," Rainbow told them.
