They see the corpse of an older Kota lying in a puddle of blood, Izuku dropped to his knees, broken sword"

He lung for a strike, only for Izuku to dodge and hit him with the flat side is his sword, "You'll need more than that"
They clashed and Izuku caught l calmly states, "easy, you're not a soldier yet"

He called out, "Kota!"
Kota could be seen fighting, "I'm alright father!"
Izuku was quick to get to his side, "Go in and get your mother"

He opened the door and ushered Kota inside, he then run a deep breath, and they returned to the him holding Kota's broken blade......
