The Boy And The Girl Next Door

Chapter 1

When I heard I was going a broad to England for a year I wasn't exactly excited in fact I wasn't happy at all, But when my mother found out it wasn't an option whether I would go or not, at least I have my twin brother William and besides it's not like i have friends to miss or a boyfriend to do long distance with so it didn't really make a difference for me.

It's not that I didn't want friends or a boyfriend it's just that I'm not the " out going " type so I never really tried so hard and I'm no miss popular so nobody was really trying for me.

Charleston residence September 1st 5:30am

It's not like I expected my mother to actually show up she never really does but I was leaving for a year and maybe the smallest part inside me actually wanted her to show up, Thank god I have my older sister ivy she's always there when my mother isn't.

" ok you have everything, you sure ? " ivy asked while furrowing her brows

" yes don't worry me and Will are going to be fine " I replied

" ok remember this car will take you to the airport I already checked you guys in "

" yes, I know I've traveled before " I smile

" ok " she smiled as she scanned me for nerves and I swear I can see the tiniest tear dripping from the tear duct of her eye as she comes closer to hug me

" if you cry your going to make me cry " I said to her as I chuckled

" I'm not shush " I can hear her sniff and wipe her eyes when I look back at the car Will is waiting on FaceTime with one his many friends I believe his name is Jaxon but he has to many to count

" I have to go now " I say looking back at her and wiping her tears with my hoodie

" ok " she says in a low whisper " one more thing I forget " before I can blink she runs inside the house and grabs a blue bag with some tissue paper inside

" don't open this until you get there okay ?"

"Okay I won't "

" you promise " she said while raising her pinky next to mine I lift mine up and wrap it around hers

" promise "

And with that I got into the car and before I can even look out the window to get one last look we drove off

After many long hours and lots of walking we finally made it to London I don't know if I was just crazy but the air felt a little fresher. we got our suitcases and went straight to find a guy holding up our name on one of those cardboard signs, we climbed into a car and headed off to Roosevelt grammar school. fun fact: they have dorms there because some of the students used to travel in from far so they decided to help and build housing for them in the early 2000's.

When we arrived the headmaster mr Tanner was outside waiting by the gates for us " welcome to Roosevelt we are so happy to have you all the way from New York "

I stay silent so Will speaks up I tend to do that, get silent when meeting new people.

" Thank you we're really excited to be here " Will says while making a smile and showing off his pearl white teeth, prefect teeth runs in the family mother made sure of it.

" unfortunately since you both were so sudden we weren't able to match Sara with a roommate so her dorm will be a bit smaller than most ms. Fallon will show you to your dorm and I will show William to his roommates then they will lead you to your room if your not okay with that's we can try and make some changes" by the time he finishes. him, Will and a sweet young teacher who I assume is Ms. Fallon is all staring at me
