To pass the time on Saturday I decided to go to our school library, the entire school was locked during the weekend besides for a few elective classes and the library of course.

When I got there it was pretty much empty besides for the few people who decided they need a quiet place to study over the weekend in, I looked through the books and found one that caught my eye. Romeo And Juliet, a classic. Unfortunately I never read it because our school in the states required different levels of reading.
I picked up the book and a few other and checked them out of the library when I ran into Samantha.
"Hey" I said practically out of breath from me having to catch up to her
"Hi" she replied coldly
"Are you ok" I asked jogging besides her
"Are you"
"What-" I said as she stopped to turn to me
"Matt told me" she said looking straight at me "about what happened on New Years, and how you've been ignoring him"
"Samantha I-"
"Save it" she said folding her arms "you broke girl code, and you hurt my brother"
"But did he even tell you the story besides we're friends now" I say trying to convince her.
"Mhm sure you are, you made out with my brother twice and never told me about it" she paused and thought for a second "please just leave me alone" before I can say anything else she was already gone.

While I was getting ready to go out with Jason I couldn't stop thinking about Samantha, maybe she doesn't deserve best friend of the year but she was my first friend here and I didn't want to lose that.

I had no idea where we were going so I mixed fancy with casual. I wore a beautiful midi violet dress and curled my hair, I somehow managed to find time to do my makeup as well.
Jason knocked on my door at around 8:06 I jogged to answer the door, he was wearing suit pants and a button down shirt similar to his uniform but with black dress shoes.
"I wasn't sure what to wear" I laugh to myself feeling embarrassed
"No worries, I found this really nice Japanese place that cooks the food in front of you" you can tell he was excited as the words left his mouth, it was cute.
"Sounds delicious, I'm going to grab my jacket"
When I came back a few minutes later I heard Jason talking to a voice.
"Nice outfit" the voice was Aaron.
"Uhm- t...thanks" I said looking down then looking at Jason "c-can we uhm go now"
"Yeah sure" he said holding out his arm to me and placing his hand on his stomach "got to go, food awaits" he said smiling at Aaron then leading me to the elevator.

When we got to the restaurant it was beautiful there was 7 chairs by each table and a large stove in the middle, once you choose the food they cook it right in front of you. I've seen a few of these places in New York but it was nice to see Jason's reaction, usually he's aloof and cool and now he's just Jason.
"This food is amazing" he said trying to start a conversation.
"Yeah totally" I pause "I have a question for you" I asked hesitantly
"Shoot" he replied wiping his mouth
"The day Matt got in that fight with Aaron, you know by lunch"
"Yeah...What about it"
"You said something by the principals office right before I left, do you remember what u said"
"Hmm- nope not really"
"You said Matt liked me and it was obvious"
"Oh right! That thing, yeah I guess I was right" he chuckled to himself "which is funny cause when to first got here I had a huge crush on you"
"What- and Matt and I were not....anything"
"Trust me I know, I heard what happened on New Years"
"What. How"
"Will told me, Matt isn't his only friend"
"Right" we were silent for a few minutes until a thought came to mind that made me laugh.
"What, what is it" he asked beginning to fix himself thinking something was wrong
"You had a crush on me" I smirked
"Shut up" he blushed "had, past tense"
"Mhmm sure" I laughed
"You know what I realized, this food isn't that good"
"Oh thank god, I didn't want to be rude but -yeah"
"Come on" he said grabbing his jacket
"Where are we going, I didn't finish"
"I want pizza and ice cream" he said almost out the door of the restaurant
"Your such a child" I shouted while grabbing my jacket and purse.

The ice cream shop was a small family owned parlor, he ordered rocky road and I got cookie dough.
We sat in the shop talking until it closed and then went back to the school campus and talked until 12am, he walked me back to my dorm to say goodnight.
"I actually had a really good time tonight" He said standing slanted in the doorway of my dorm with his hand up against the door post and me standing beneath him.
"Yeah me to" I smiled looking up at him
"Let's do this again sometime, you have my number"
"We definitely should" I yawned "I should head to bed I'm pretty tired"
"Ok granny"
"Granny?, it's 12:30"
"Yeah only 12:30"
"So what- you're going to some secret party right now"
"Well- sorta"
There was a moment of silence
"Take me"
"What- no"
"I want to go"
"You can't just go, there's a whole initiation thing and whatever"
"Pleaseeee"
"No way"
"Ok grandpa"
He thought for a moment looking down at me smirking and it kind of made me nervous
"Fine, but you have to sit in the back and you cannot say a word"
"Yay" I say following him as he leads the way throughout campus into an old abandoned house with spray paint and torn out windows nearby, at some point I thought he was going to murder me.
When we got closer I saw a light in the back, we climbed through the window and that's when I saw everyone. Will, Matt, Elijah and even Aaron.
"Why the hell did you bring her" Aaron said
"She wouldn't leave me alone" Jason said sitting down at a table in the center of the room with everyone else.
There was a moment of silence as they all stared at me.
"Hi, nice to see you all again" I smiled
They all turned around towards the table and groaned expect for Jason who came walking up to me.
"Sorry for them, this is sort of secret. We don't like outsiders, I warned you" he said whispering.
"It's okay, I'm the one who asked" I whispered back smiling
"The kitchen is the door on the left, maybe just chill there for now"
"You got it grandpa" I say still whispering beginning to walk away.
"Don't forget grandma I'm driving you home" he said but this time not whispering, he said it loud enough for everyone sitting at the table and they all turned around as I left the room.

I heard some yelling and some laughing but the entire time I sat on the kitchen counter reading a book I had stashed in my purse right before we left my dorm.
"Hey" Matt had said walking into the kitchen.
"Hi" I replied putting down my book.
It was silent as Matt reached into a mini fridge on the floor and pulled out an old beer and attempted to open it with a bottle opener.
"So how was your date" he finally said
"Not a date" I paused "but good, it was nice"
"I'm glad" he said leaning against the counter I was sitting on "Will forgave me" he continued
"I know, he told me"
It was quiet and then Matt got up and started walking towards the door to the other room "wait" I said hoping he would come back.
"I'm sorry, this is so awkward"
"Yeah, it is" he was straight faced then chuckled to himself
"Can we just- start over"
"Yeah, I'd like that" he said walking towards me and putting out his hand "hi, I'm Matt"
I laughed and shook his hand "I'm Sara, it's nice to meet you Matt" we both smiled then laughed until Matt had to leave to get back to the other guys and I was left alone reading on the counter.
