(Train Station)
"I swear it's almost like these trains want to make me late" Kūsho sighs as he gets off the train and looks down at his watch "Hm I got 20 mins before my exam, suppose I have time to get food" walks over to a store and buys himself a coffee and sand which.(Later, Outside Duel Academy)
"So this is duel academy" Kūsho walks inside the academy and sees several exams already taking place "Hmm...some impressive duelists here, should be fun to see just how good some of these duelists are" looks down at his watch "5 more minutes...4...3...2...1" he hears his examinee number being called and walks into one of the exam rooms with an examiner on the opposite side of the room "Welcome mister Kūsho are you prepared?" Kūsho nods "Bring it on" equips his black and white duel disk and slots his deck into it.(The Duel)
The examiner sets a monster face down as well as a card and ends their turn. Kūsho looks at his hand "Alright...let's bring out your best" sets two cards face down before summoning a monster "I summon Void Walker in attack position"The examiner raises his eyebrows as well as shivers slightly at the sight of the monster "These are some creepy monsters and this feeling is..." the examiner shakes their head of the feeling and continues to watch Kūsho. "I activate Void Walkers effect and add one void trap card to my hand" Kūsho adds a void trap to his hand and then sets it face down "Thanks to the effect Void Walker gains 500 ATK and defence" Void Walker's ATK and defence goes up to 2200 and 2000 def. "Void Walker attack, void blast" Void Walker destroys the examiners set monster, "Not bad but" he reveals his set card "I activate my trap card which lets me summon one level 4 or lower monster from my hand" he summons another monster in attack position. Kūsho sighs "I'm afraid you won't have a chance to defend..." reveals one of his set cards "The Void's Call...it destroys one of your monsters on the field"
The examiner gasps as their monster is destroyed "Impressive Mr Kūsho" Kūsho's expression doesn't change as they end their turn.
"Alright my turn" the examiner draws a card and summons a monster in attack position and then reveals another set card which increases their monsters ATK to 2500 "Say goodbye to your Walker" Kūsho yawns "Not so fast" reveals another of his set cards"Void calling weakens your light monsters brightness and makes them helpless before the darkness" the examiner gasps as their monster loses 500 ATK and is destroyed causing their monster to be destroyed. (Examiner Lp now around 3000) the examiner ends their turn and Kūsho draws a card "Time to end this" reveals a set card "I activate gates of the void"
"I special summon another void Walker to the field...then I shall summon one of my more fierce monsters come forth...Zarnac The Void King"
"Zarnac...break him" Zarnac let's shrill scream before destroying the examiners monster and lowering their life points to zero" the examiner smiles "Very impressive mister Kūsho you have passed" Kūsho faintly smiles as he leaves the room. "That was pretty fun though I didn't get to really drag out the duel...oh well" he leaves the academy.
(The Next Day, Duel Academy, Auditorium)
Kūsho waits around as he is sorted into Obelisk Blue and walks to his sides dorm room"Ooo fancy" he walks into the dorm room and looks for his room claiming single room with a decent amount of space, shutting the door behind him and laying out his duel disk and deck on the desk and putting his jacket over his chair and looking at the uniform..."I wish I could have a darker colour option but whatever" lays out the uniform while looking over his deck to make sure it's properly sorted. "I hope there are some better duelists in this school that I can face", he lays down on the bed and decides to take a short nap to rest up for the rest of his day.
