Witnessing A Unique Duel

(Obelisk Blue Dorms)
Kūsho feels something tap his leg and looks up to a tall blue haired fellow obelisk blue student whom Kūsho eventually recognises "You need something Zane?" Zane's expression doesn't change "No just letting you know food out if you want any, unless you lack an appetite" Kūsho lightly chuckles to himself "Thanks for telling me" he gets up slowly while Zane leaves the room and Kūsho heads down to the main area of the dorm to eat.

(Main Dorm Area, Dining Room)
Kūsho sits down at a table on his own and begins eating his food before he hears Chazz talking about something on another table next to him "I can't believe that Silfer Red fool accepted the duel, oh well it just means I get to crush them and prove their victory over Crowler was a fluke" Kūsho's eyes widen a little "Oh...so that's why Crowler was in such a mood after the exams were over...I guess they'll be using the arena I saw earlier...I think I'll go watch the duel, not like I've got anything better to do" he finishes his food and waits for Chazz to leave before tailing him to the duel arena and splitting off to find a vantage point to watch from.

(Duel Arena)
Kūsho finds a secluded spot to watch the duel from a darkened corner of the arena stands and watches as Chazz and Jaden arrive and Kūsho looks at Jaden closely "Hm so this is the duelist who beat Crowler they have an interesting aura a bit too happy one but I suppose when you duel for fun you don't really care about your pride all that much...I like that in these kinds of people" he sighs and watches as they begin to duel.

(The Duel)
Kūsho watches as Chazz summons Reborn Zombie in defence position before setting a card face down and ending his turn "Interesting let us see if Chazz is as smart as he is prideful in himself" he then watches Jaden  activate Polymerization to fuse the hero monster Avian and Burstinatrix into Flame Wingman. "Impressive quite a powerful card though lacking in terms of attack power though I guess it's effect makes up for its low attack" suddenly Chazz activates his set card Chthonian Polymer "I suppose Chazz isn't as stupid as I thought" Jaden's Flame Wingman is taken by Chazz while Reborn Zombie is destroyed as a tribute.
Jaden then summons the Hero Clayman in defence position and ends his turn, Chazz then draws a card and then normal summons it to the field revealing it to be Chthonian Solider before attacking with Flame Wingman and destroying destroying Clayman dealing 800 damage to Jaden's life point leaving him with 3200 only for Chthonian Soldier to attack directly and deal 1200 life points of damage leaving Jaden with 2000 life points, Chazz sets a card before ending his turn.
Jaden draws a card before normal summoning the Hero Sparkman in attack position which attacks and destroys Chthonian Solider dealing 400 damage to Chazz leaving him with 3600 life points only for Chthonian Solider's effect to activate and deal 400 damage back to Jaden leaving Jaden with only 1600 life points, Jaden sets a card before ending his turn.
Chazz draws a card before attacking Sparkman with Flame Wingman only for Jaden to activate Mirror Gate to swap their monsters Flame Wingman destroys Sparkman and deals 500 damage to Chazz leaving him with 3100 life points however Flame Wingman's effect activates dealing 1600 damage to Chazz as well leaving his life points at 1500, Chazz then plays Chthonian Blast destroying Flame Wingman inflicting damage equal to half of Flameman' attack points dealing 1150 points worth of life point damage to Jaden leaving him with only 550 life points before Chazz then activates his face down card Call Of The Hunted to revive Chthonian Soldier in attack position which he then tributes to summon Mefist The Infernal General in attack position before ending his turn.
Jaden draws a card and goes to make a move only for them to be interrupted by Alexis Rhodes. Kūsho frowns as Alexis breaks up the "It was just getting interesting too" Syrus gets their attention and points to where Kūsho is standing "Oh he saw me, well I suppose it was only a matter of time" Chazz looks at Kūsho with surprise and anger "How did he follow me here without me knowing?!" Jaden looks at Kūsho with intrigue "Woah I wonder who that could be, I wonder how strong their deck is in a duel" Alexis looks up at Kūsho "So your the enigma that the examiners were talking about...just who are you Kūsho?" Kūsho leaves as do the rest of them and he sneaks back into the dorm room and lays on his bed and staring at the ceiling "What a night I wonder if tomorrow will be as eventful, or will it be boring and mediocre...who knows" he slowly falls asleep.
