Now, 6,000 years later, a boy named Yugi and a girl named Miranda unlocks the secrets of the millennium puzzle and the millennium ball.

For destiny has chosen them to defend the world in the return of the shadow games...

Miranda was sitting across from Yugi, Joey, Tristan and Téa as they were talking and dueling.
The young girl had her head down on the desk, looking as if she was sleeping.
In fact, Miranda was sleeping.
She hadn't had much sleep since she has been so worried about losing everything and everyone, including her boyfriend Yugi.
Yugi, Joey, Tristan and Téa looked over at the tired teen.
"It's true what they say..." Joey began to say, in a low whisper.
"YOU SNOOZE... YOU LOSE!!!" Tristan yelled, which caused Miranda to jump out of her seat and fall onto the floor, startled.
Joey and Téa looked at the pointy haired teen as Yugi now got up and went over to his girlfriend Miranda.
Miranda was looking down at the floor, clenching her fists while tears were dripping down from her beautiful purple eyes.
Yugi kneeled down in front of her.
"Miranda... Miranda, are you alright...?" He asked, concerned as Atem appeared beside him, in translucent form.
The Pharaoh could sense that something was wrong.
"Yugi..." He said, placing his translucent hand on the young boy's shoulder.
Yugi turned around to look at him.
"Please help her, Pharaoh. She's hurt!" He said, looking from Atem to Miranda, who was on the floor, crying silently.
Atem was also concerned but surprised at the same time.
Who could've hurt his Little Miranda...?
"Mhmm... Alright, Yugi. Let me take over..." He said, nodding his head yes, in understanding.
Yugi nodded his head yes, in agreement.
