I HC that Aizawa returns home from work everyday with a bag of his s/o's favorite food 😋

Hmm...not going to like this answer but here goes and why. (remember I answer based off the manga and anime which includes Viglinaties manga.I do not necessarily write what you think you want. I will write what Shouta would be like.)

Rund down on time in the day

•One: he doesn't arrive at U.A. dorms the same time twice after patrols and then he has grading to accomplish. Parents get really upset when a teacher doesn't update the grades in a timely fashion.

Only work has a set time so he isn't late. Of course emergencies and broken bones keep him from being on time late but that's it. The man has a sleeping bag at work and he sleeps instead of eating properly. He doesn't even eat healthy and it's on the grab. Besides, I doubt your favorite food is not healthy either. That is unless you are vegan/ vegetarian.

Are you by chance?

Two: He is constantly moving around Mustafa with his trouble finding students and protecting the streets. He's sleep deprived for a reason. Why do you think he eats jelly packs?I

•Three: Have you seen Japanese trains and transportation? Japan has far less cars than other countries. The cost to keep a car in Japan is expensive so most likely he doesn't own one. That means trains and cabs, most ride the trains so he can't control changing times to deliver your favorite food.

Four: From the incident with USJ,Endeavor on his case about Shoto. Endeavor originally wanted Mr. Aizawa to be fired because he wasn't good enough to teach his son. It could take him two hours to acquire your favorite food.

Do you really want to add to his stress?

It's not that Shouta doesn't want to do it for you but he simply can't do time restraints. He would set up a type DoorDash food/meal delivery. You could text him and he gets it ordered so it will be delivered on time. There he could customize a favorite food.

When he has time off (?), he will spend it with you. It would be more like making favorite foods in the kitchen fresh. Maybe you could help him out and take a love lunch to him sometimes and the dessert is you?

This is gonna be another Daddyzawa request; do you have any hc's of how Shota would discipline his child? Like when they're around the age of maybe 4 or 5 years old. This combined with having a soft s/o who doesn't discipline them at all and whenever Aizawa does, she's like "Oh come on, Shota. They're just a toddler."

( I imagine he doesn't give straight up whoopings but probably just simple wrist slaps and light swats on the back of their thighs haha )

The Japanese have different views on raising children. When you and he were at a park and your child had a temper tantrum. Shota simply let it occur without stopping it. This age period is Ma no Nisai" (the evil age)

Shota, like most Japanese fathers, practices the Art of Shitsuke (Discipline). This is where the child is taken aside, after the incident and the father crouches down to be scolded by a pillar. Discipline is spoken in private.

Shota disciplines his child as if a student is just a younger one. It's the behavior, not the child. Japanese children learn good behavior by modeling it.

If his child is doing something foolish repeatedly that could lead to getting hurt, he chooses a time to let the child experience the painful result like a splinter. An easy fix but nothing deadly in nature. Children have to learn about hot stoves and such. Pain is an extremely good deterrent as it causes his child to pause.

Getting a child to pause and think is often a way to deter in the future. They begin to think for a moment.

From a more traditional Western style child raising:

Aizawa is psychological with discipline. His voice often is enough to stop his child. Hell just a look...at four to five a child has begun to socialize in preschool. Certain socializing concepts are expected. He would be a time out person with the rule 1 minute per year rule. Five year old is five minutes, not fifteen.

Discipline is often to keep a child safe and can be just merrily words. It's to prevent physical pain so spanking is not an answer but a knee jerk reaction with anger.

As for Shota, It's not his job to be the bad guy. He gets assistance at work with his work. Discipline can be based on rewarding good behavior not just negative re-enforcement. Eventually the child has to be in society part of the time and certain polite behavior is expected.
