"Well hi there sweetie, you're eyes are beautiful, you look just like your father.."

The mother of the new born baby said as the baby opened her (E/c) eyes. She looked at her husband who was sitting beside the bed, she smiled and said, "would you like to hold your daughter?" She asked him and he nodded his head and held out his arms for the new born. He took her in his arms cradling her. His wife gave a tired smile and turned her head twords the rain drop covered window, it had been raining the entire day and it was getting late. As she was about to fall asleep the door opened and the doctor came in and asked the couple what they were going to name their daughter.
"Honey, how does (y/n) sound?" She asked, he nodded "That's a nice name.. i like it. (Y/n) it is then" he said with a loving smile.

When(y/n) was only four her father had gotten cancer, he was thinking about putting her up for adoption, but when he had mentioned this to her mother she wasn't happy about it.

But after contemplating she reluctantly agreed. She wanted to keep y/n a little longer, so when y/n was about five years old they were going send her away...

(Y/n) was playing with her dolls in the back yard when her mom called her in for lunch. "(Y/n) it's time for lunch, come inside." She went inside to her mother.

"Mommy? How is Daddy?" (Y/n) asked her mother as she sat down in her chair. Her mother looked at her with sad eyes as she said, "he's doing fine sweetie, he'll be okay.."

"Hey um.. sweetie? I have some news to tell you.."
Y/n's mother turned to y/n with tears starting to form in her eyes.
"Mommy? Are you ok? What's wrong?!" Y/n looked at her mother with a concerned look on her face.

"Nothing dear, I'm fine.."
She pulled y/n into a tight hug.
She knew she couldn't tell her daughter that they were going to leave her. That they can't keep her. They couldn't afford to pay for the treatment her husband needed and take care of their daughter, so they had to give here up for adoption.

She didn't want to cry, to a have breakdown in front y/n, but she couldn't hold the tears that had been threatening to fall. She sat there holding her, crying.

Y/n was sent to the orphanage.
The last time she saw her mother,
Her father could not make it, for he was bed ridden.

That was longest time and the hardest she had ever cried.

Her mother would comfort her when she cried. Her father made her smile when she was sad. She missed her parents.

______________

While y/n was crying at the orphanage.

Her mother was on the verge of tears on the highway in traffic. As she held the steering wheel, tears started to fall, her grip tightened and then loosened, as she put her head down and started to sob.

She knew that was the right thing to do. They couldn't take care of her, not how they were now at least. They were poor, they can't afford a treatment and they can't afford to take care of y/n while the bills and taxes aren't being payed.

But still.. It hurts To say goodbye.

She looked up and rubbed her eyes clear from tears and tried not to cry anymore.

"Goodbye sweetie.. i hope we can see each other again." She spoke softly with a sad smile.

As she tried to focus on the traffic in front of her.
