All Might X Reader

Lunch

(Y/n POV)

It was currently 1:25am and i was coming back home after a long night of patrolling, it was cold and i was so tired, all i wanted is to collapse on my bed as soon as i got home.
There wasn't much that happened tonight, it was quite peaceful actually.

When i got home i took a quick shower and ate something before going to my bedroom and collapsing on my bed. Just how i planned.

It was 7: 27 in the morning.
I was watching the news on tv, it was something about All Might being spotted at a convenient store.
I was sipping on my coffee and eating some bread i toasted.
Tsuyoshi is supposed to be coming over so i can help him with his homework.
I'm not picking favourites here, i am his mentor and tutor.
After awhile my phone vibrated, it was a message from Tsuyoshi saying he won't be coming because he has a cousin over. I replied to him that it was ok and that we can have a study session later.

I turned off the tv and went to rinse my mug and put it away. My phone started to vibrate again and i checked to see what it was, and it was a phone call from Yagi. I immediately picked up.

"Hello?" I said.
"Hi good morning, I'd like to meet you at the beach park"
He asked. And then it clicked. 'oh I almost forgot about the date!'. "Oh, sure thing I'll be there in a few minutes." I told him.
"Ok see you there." He hung up.

I went to my room and got my outfit ready. I had a (F/c) T-shirt and leggings. I grabbed my shoulder bag and put my phone and wallet in the bag and whatever else i might need, i got my keys and left my apartment.

I arrived at the beach park soon after.

I saw him standing there, looking out to the sea, with the wind softly blowing through his blonde hair.
I stood there in awe taking in his features, he had sunken eyes, irises blue as the deep ocean and filled with stories you would never get tired of listening to. His blonde hair. His lightly tanned skin, his skinny yet tall figure, you can tell he's tall even if he is slouching.

I came up to him and tapped his shoulder lightly. "Hi I'm here" i said with a smile. He turned his gaze to me "great where would you like to go?" He asked.
"Oh I'm not sure actually, where do you usually go for lunch?"
He thought about it for a second and as if a light bulb appeared above his head, he snapped his fingers and looked at me and said "oh! I know, come on let's go" he turned slightly and waved his hand motioning for me to follow him.

I followed and walked beside him.
"So where are we going?" I asked him and he just said "it's a secret" he looked towards me putting a finger on his lips and winked at me.

I felt the heat crawling up my face and i looked away from him to hide my blush.

I heard him gag and i looked back at him with a concerned expression. "Hey, are you okay?" I asked him.
He was coughing into his closed fist with his face turned away from me, but i could have sworn that i saw the tips of his ears turn a light shade of red.

He looked back to me and nodded "yes I'm fine, sorry about that.."
I put my hands up slightly waving them in front of my chest
"Oh no, its alright but what happened?" I asked and he said "oh i just inhaled some saliva." he rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Oof yup, it happens sometimes.. a hate the feeling honestly.. haha."
I said with a nervous giggle.

Soon we arrived at a small diner, we went inside and ordered our food, Yagi ordered soba and i ordered F/f.

We were sitting at a table and chatting, patiently waiting for our food.
"Yeah i was actually adopted, i don't really know much about my birth parents." I said with a sad smile.
He put his hand over mine and said "hey it's ok" i smiled at him "i know.."
I looked down at our hands and a light shade of red tinted my cheeks, i slipped my hand out from under his and he noticed it, "oh I'm sorry I didn't mea-" i cut him off "oh no its okay, i just moved so you wouldn't feel uncomfortable"

"No it's alright, i wasn't uncomfortable your hand is quite soft."
I looked down at my lap with a slight tint of pink dusting my face, my hands fidgeting around and stuttered out a thank you.
'Ahh gosh! Why am I like this?!'
I thought to myself feeling awkward.

The waitress brought our food to the table and we thanked her after she set them down. When she left we continued chatting "So how is your mother?"

"She's ok, she's been missing me lately though. I'm planning to go and visit her sometime this month.." I said. "Oh! Hey if you want you should come with me, she bakes the best chocolate chip cookies!" I beamed.

He smiled. "I'd love to but I'm afraid that I'll have to decline your kind offer" I frowned but nodded nonetheless, then my face brightened again "it's okay I'll just bring some of her cookies when I come back." I said and his face seemed to shine when he smiled back at me.

"That would be great."

Time flew by faster then we expected and it was already quite late, we left soon after.

He offered to walk me home but i thanked him for his kindness and politely declined but he insisted that he'd walk me home.

"It's alright you don't have to do this.." i told him. "No i insist, i want to do this."
This went on for a while until he pointed out that it was really getting late and that we should hurry and get home.
'In the end he got what he wanted, persistent bastard.' I thought to myself as he walked us back to my apartment.

We got to my apartment after ten minutes, and the whole time we had walked in silence.

"Thank you for walking me back."
I said. "No problem.." he trailed off.

"Call me (Y/n)." I said.

He looked at me a little shocked, but then he gave a gentle smile.
"Okay (Y/n)." He said "Thanks for today, it was nice sharing one of my favourite places with someone."

"Likewise! I enjoyed today very much, i hope we can do this again sometime." I smiled. "I do to, goodnight (Y/n)."
He turned around and started to walk off "See ya' soon Yagi!" I waved after him and he waved back at me with a smile. I watched as he left my vision and into the night.

I went inside soon after and got ready for bed, it was so late and i was so sleepy that as soon as i got in bed i immediately fell into a deep sleep dreaming about my new friend.
