Right tonight she asked Thranduil to walk with her but that was a dumb move of her on getting him alone
She was making her way to his gardens when she saw the Queen approach her..
Instead of getting him alone she was about to do something cunning and snarky..to the Queen
"Princess Athena..Why are you wandering here at late night?"Caladhiel asked
"Ohh..Thranduil said he was gonna meet up with me tonight"She lied when it was her idea
"But..he said he will check up on his soldiers"Caladhiel said somehow shocked her own husband lied to her
"Ohh...What a Pity...He surely lied for me"Athena said dramatically
"What?"
"What I'm saying is I think he is starting to get interested in me"She said with a smirk
"No..of course not you are only his friend"Caladhiel defended
"Oh I think not,honey..Did you notice how he spend so much time with me merely abusing his duty as king,as a husband and as a father...He calls me Starlight..Does he call you that?"She paused emphasizing 'starlight' breathless
Her true colours are coming out as Caladhiel observed
"And most of nights he calls me up to walk and embrace..He tells me he loves me"
"But like a sister I assure you"Caladhiel said confidently
Athena started circling her like a prey
"I know that,dear...But soon it will be more than a sister..maybe a lover?"She asked before chuckling at her reaction
"What are you on about?"The queen asked
Athena completely stopped in front of her and smirked and using her cold menacing tone
"I don't think you understand,honey...I used to be in love with Thranduil..before you came,you commoner..which he fell in love with...You robbed everything from me,you robbed him from me,you robbed my reputation of being a strong queen,you snatched my crown,you grasped a ton of elves loyalty from me,almost everything...But now you will taste the harsh love I use to feel when you married him...He used to spend a lot of his time with you,walk with you,kiss you and everything..he left me no attention at all before,...but now..He is the one seeking attention towards me and I gave him that..Your husband is under my control..You husband is mine"She whispered at the end
"You are not doing such thing..Your fantasies won't happen..He loves me.."Caladhiel says now panicking
Athena chuckled darkly and raised her right eyebrow
"Love?...You think love is the only thing you can trust?..Yes people believed love can save them and they trust it..however when It comes to jealousy and heartache it betrays you...So there is no love at all"She said with malice
"And if you are wondering if my 'fantasies' you say won't work at all then you are a hundred percent wrong...Have you heard about The queen of Gondor?"She asked as she cornered the queen on the wall
Caladhiel nodded not liking the true side of Athena..she was scared of her
"She died right?"Athena asked and she barely nodded
"That's what happens to all The King's wife I seduced and it will soon happen to you"She said and smiled deviously
Caladhiel gasped
"Y-your'e the maiden who visited the king of Gondor?"
Athena chuckled throwing her head back
"Is it not obvious?What did they say about the maiden who visited him?"She asked
The Queen kept silent
